'Tao' remains my fav album of his, and one of my top 5 albums of the 80s. Criminally overlooked.

I know why I married my husband in 1989 - he look exactly like Rick. Except Rick still looks fine - husband kinda fell apart.

This was great - thanks for sharing this! "My Father's Chair" is so beautiful and touching. I hate to hear that he was unhappy with himself and hope he is proud and pleased now, cause he is so talented. Check out his new cd VENUS IN OVERDRIVE. It's terrific.

just an FYI - that concert was live- filmed in Tucson AZ. there were real people present. don't know why 30dean55 would say that.

I saw him on the Hard to Hold tour (think it was 1984 or 6, anyway....Really incredible. I have alos seen Zep,The Who etc..it was right up there. I really mean it. So underrated...Rick,is.

The Beat of a Live Drum was a staged video. Filmed on a set. No one was actually in the audience. Just another glimpse of his ego way back when.
