Good video. It is interesting to see this vantage point. The police just don't like being filmed. I didn't see anything they did that would be out of line in the least bit, but they are always scared when a camera is on. I would think he asked you to leave because you were standing in the crime scene, but that is hard to tell from a video. If the ACLU didn't care, then you got nothing....
