Very glad to come back and view this one again, BLZ and MC (especially since I don't have to go back and dig it out of my Favorites).  Certainly one of my top 3 collabs on all of Youtube.....and I've seen a bunch of 'em over the years. Ironically, I see another level of allegory this time beyond the original personal level....even in to the political and fiscal. "There ain't no magic wand to save us".

exactly..that's why i used the term...that's actually what the song is about ....the term is also used in 12 step addiction programmes as people on the road to healing, painfully let go of the thing that was doing them harm.
