That is what happened with my aquarium. My guppy-molly hybrids look similar with the black stripes on the side and the colorful tails, but some of mine look a bit of a dull-drab color as well. How are your hybrids doing now?
I'm not a fish guy so the process was mainly neglect.
The Molly was alone with like 10 guppys for over 6 months. The guppys died one by one, so I guess Mrs. Molly saw it as her only chance to have a go with the guppies. She was all by herself for a month or two, then the fry came.
cool. what processes did you go through to make them cross. i would like to try even though i know the odds of this happening and the fry growing to adults is unlikely?
