Holy crap! I typed WWYD into YouTube on a whim after trying to remember some of my favorite shows. Thanks soooo much for uploading this! So many memories! Mark Summers was so awesome.
I would always watch this show when it came one. To me Nick's glory days were in the late 80's to mid 90's. Nowadays, I don't even bother watching the channel. Next to Wild and Crazy Kids, this was my fav Nick show.
Wow. I just read about Jeebs. That's slightly disturbing. You grow up innocent and when you read about people that do such things that you've met or saw in your childhood...it just blows your mind.
omg! I remember this show was my favorite on days off from school. I had the biggest crush on Marc Summers cause he looked and acted just like my P.E. Coach that was really nice and attractive.
Whats was the show called that had colorful doors or lockers that kids would open randomly and tell a joke or riddle? Theyd open , poke head out, say something funny, then another kid would do the same from another door? Anyone remember that show?
It's true. Jeebs, while using meth and smoking weed, was hitting on a new druggie friend. This led to the guy stabbing him.... Jeebs was truly talented, but just another big-time druggie
The reason eacher episode is 25 minutes is because the show would run 12.5 mins and have a 5 min break...now a days it's 15-15min which sucks..less show to watchs
LOL. The kid guesses ridiculous weights twice and Marc is like, "Nah, make a real guess," then the father makes a ridiculous guess of 400 lbs. for revenge and Marc is like, "Alright, the little bastard deserves it."
I use to watch this all the time as a kid. It was one of my favorite shows. Sometimes I really miss childhood. :-) I don't miss certain people that were around, but I miss the way I use to think and see the world.
Remember how amazing the 90's were? The war on terror hadn't begun, the peace dividend and the fall of communism brought amazing wealth to the U.S. and Europe. The housing market was booming. Vacations every year. Summertime cookouts. Blissful ignorance... Damn, things done changed.
Hokum W. Jeebs was a local act, popular in the Washington state area. (Not sure how WWYD in Florida got a hold of him.) That piano a la cart was one of his most famous bits.
If you check findagrave, it has plenty of detail on his death...really a shame.
Starting on July 25th on TeenNick, from 12-4am Central time will a block called The 90s Are ALL THAT! Shows to be included in the block are: Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, The ORIGINAL ALL THAT, The Amanda Show, Are You Afraid of the Dark? CatDog, Clarissa Explains It All, Double Dare, Doug, GUTS, Hey Arnold, Kenan & Kel, Legends of the Hidden Temple
@vaibanez17 I did as well, but I was too young at the time (I was born in 1992). Nowadays I still want to meet stars from Disney and Nick, and I know its not feasibly likely in most circumstances.
i love the woman that says are u alright at 24:02. It's a sauer kraut and jelly bean sandwich, i don't think that kid is gonna be alright eatin that thing haha
Ahh...memories. I remember getting ready for the school bell to ring and run home and watch the Nickelodeon afternoon line up of Wild and Crazy Kids, Rocko, Rugrats, Guts, Double Dare, etc. Thanks to Nickelodeon my childhood rocked!
Of course, that is like 90s children's entertainment at its finest. A random woman from the audience is picked to have a random guy guess her weight, and then concludes with a 12 year old getting dumped fully clothed into a dunk tank, all on national TV.
