i dont know about this game, i've got this game and i never finished it, coz it just got too reptitive and boring :S u always end up just going around jumping off platforms to "scare" some smaller enemies away (coz u cant actually kill them) and then u get to fight a boss in each level, but then some bosses come back in some levels, so all the time it feels like you're getting no where :S n now i saw a comment saying that the ending does leave u feeling empty :S so i dunno, dun really like it

In game engine has become the new standerd in videogames. Even in theWii, I've seen a cut scene of Spiderman: Web of Shadows, and it was done in PS3/360 graphics.

Pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed this game as well--at least as much as the first Sands of Time game. This game not only starts the franchise over completely, but also cleans off the slate and gives a whole new kind of polished charm that was all but absent as the SoT trilogy progressed. This, to me, is a definitively modern version of what Prince of Persia is really made to be. It's definately differnt from Sands of Time, but it adheres more to the original PoP game more than SoT ever did.
id get assassins creed because the price is so low and PoP will drop in price as well soon enough since it has no online capabilities besides downloadable content :P

Not only do the characters's facial structures not resemble by a margin the modern day Final Fantasy cahracter, but their detail relies far more on artistic value than on something like having hair and features that are effiminate for both genders. Not to mention none of them have apredictable and/or convoluted backstory like FF's veteran chars. If anything, it's just a more realistic representation of what Okami or Wind Waker would look like.

I thought it was better than Sands of Time, and much more interesting character that wasn't as pompous or just boring. The platforming is a lot more fun, but I'm sure some people will like the approach to previous PoPs where the platforming was a challenge in itself rather than a way to move forward like in this game.
man i LOVE prince of persia the sands of time trilogy was awesome i played em all on gamecube when they came out and beat em twice except warrior within all the time portals it gets confusing where u have to go in which time zone
I agree with a lot of you're points. Graphics are just stunningly gorgeous, gameplay looks like fun and eliminating some of the puzzles makes the game flow better. Honestly, great review.
this game is pretty good, i picked a copy up yesterday and it is really fun, the cell shaded anime graphic style is a real change that will hopefully carry on into other games

but it takes less time than falling, seeing the "youre dead" screen
restarting, waiting for it to load, and you probably will end up at some other checkpoint
this game will take you back to the last solid ground that you were standing on
way faster and more efficient than dying

I thought it was better than Sands of Time, and much more interesting character that wasn't as pompous or just boring. The platforming is a lot more fun, but I'm sure some people will like the approach to previous PoPs where the platforming was a challenge in itself rather than a way to move forward like in this game.

man i LOVE prince of persia the sands of time trilogy was awesome i played em all on gamecube when they came out and beat em twice except warrior within all the time portals it gets confusing where u have to go in which time zone

I agree with a lot of you're points. Graphics are just stunningly gorgeous, gameplay looks like fun and eliminating some of the puzzles makes the game flow better. Honestly, great review.

this game is pretty good, i picked a copy up yesterday and it is really fun, the cell shaded anime graphic style is a real change that will hopefully carry on into other games
