@Mannequin2009 if u go to her concert then you'll know that she didn't lip-sync 100%, plus, u can't really trusts videos....lol, as an video-editor and sound engineer myself, i can strongly say she sings. Definitely 90% of the show is completely live and the rest is sung on top of pre-recorded vocals. I'll add that her live voice sounds beautiful and her singing is pitch-perfect. Plus, the show is absolutely amazing. It's not just the stage, the gorgeous costumes, the props, the videos, the dancers and the special effects, it's her stage presence, her singing, her dancing and the fact that you see her really having fun, enjoying what she's doing and doing it like the pro she is.
@Mannequin2009 to say that with certainty you should be one of the sound engineers or producers of the show. Until somebody in her camp says that it's all pre-recorded, everybody is entitled to his opinion and every opinion is as respectable as anybody else's. My ear is as good as yours and since I'm a mature adult, I do a lot of thinking myself. I've been to the show and I keep on believing that 90% is live, 10% sung on top of pre-recorded vocals. That's what I'm convinced of.

None of us got evidence of how things REALLY are, so nobody can say what THE TRUTH is. @Mannequin2009 there's no video where her lips don't match the sounds. On some songs she uses pre-recorded vocals here and there, but not extensively. And the fact that her voice sounds the same on every date is no evidence. She's sung 100% live countless time since the start of her career and anybody who's ever seen 2-3 live performances of the same song know very well that she does always the same variations on vocals. You may like it or not, but that's another story.
@Mannequin2009 and the very fact that thousands of people who've been to her shows say that she sang live means that what you say isn't a scientific fact. It might be clear to you that she lip-synched, but it defintely isn't for thousands of people. And not because thousands of people are hearing-impaired or stupid, but because you hear and see what you want to hear and see. Even if she sang live in your face, you would deny that because you strongly believe she can't do that and never does.

Give me a link to an interview where a sound engineer or the music director or the director of the show or one of her managers say that she doesn't sing live and I'll agree with you. @Mannequin2009 sorry but someone who says that Britney is famous for lipping doesn't really know her. Especially at the start of her career she sang almost always live and to deny that is to deny that the Earth revolves around the Sun. Sure, most of the time she sings on top of very loud pre-recorded vocals or CD vocals, but she still sings completely live (for example, the Alanis cover) or sings loud with or without backing vocals, like on this tour.
@Mannequin2009 by the way, singing on top of pre-recorded vocals isn't technically lip-synching, which is moving your lips without uttering a single sound. And saying that she is famous for lipping means that she is the only one who doesn't 100% live. But pretty much anybody who puts on big pop shows sings on top of pre-recorded vocals. Madonna does it, Gaga does it and the list could go on. At least Britney dances almost all the time. The others just make a move here and there.
@Mannequin2009 last but not least, when she lip-synchs (that is when she just movs her lips, and she does it often on TV shows), I have no problem saying it. I also acknowledge that during the "Circus" tour the pre-recorded vocals were so loud that you had to be almost on the stage to hear her singing. But on this tour she sings live during most of the show. Saying that she lip-synchs a priori, just because many people think she always does, is just a sign of bad faith and prejudice.
I have to agree with the others here...most of her songs in the tour are sang live, i went last june and you could hear her real live voice...although Im pretty sure till the world ends is 90% lipsynced but other than that she sang every thing live, esp DOnt let me be the last to knoooooooooooouuuuuww?
@kokym8 no hun not pre recorded she has flubbed words a couple time like on dlmbtltk she said do ya feel the way ya feel but in every previous she she hasnt said that also ive been twice vocal was different. backing vocals are the same but her voice is different. i mean what would be the point of even having songs that sound live and then play the cd version for others? she does sing live her lead vocals are always different.

@Mannequin2009 to say that with certainty you should be one of the sound engineers or producers of the show. Until somebody in her camp says that it's all pre-recorded, everybody is entitled to his opinion and every opinion is as respectable as anybody else's. My ear is as good as yours and since I'm a mature adult, I do a lot of thinking myself. I've been to the show and I keep on believing that 90% is live, 10% sung on top of pre-recorded vocals. That's what I'm convinced of.

@Mannequin2009 there's no video where her lips don't match the sounds. On some songs she uses pre-recorded vocals here and there, but not extensively. And the fact that her voice sounds the same on every date is no evidence. She's sung 100% live countless time since the start of her career and anybody who's ever seen 2-3 live performances of the same song know very well that she does always the same variations on vocals. You may like it or not, but that's another story.

@Mannequin2009 and the very fact that thousands of people who've been to her shows say that she sang live means that what you say isn't a scientific fact. It might be clear to you that she lip-synched, but it defintely isn't for thousands of people. And not because thousands of people are hearing-impaired or stupid, but because you hear and see what you want to hear and see. Even if she sang live in your face, you would deny that because you strongly believe she can't do that and never does.

Give me a link to an interview where a sound engineer or the music director or the director of the show or one of her managers say that she doesn't sing live and I'll agree with you. But of course you will never find one, even if you were right. Until you find such evidence, every opinion is nothing more than that. And stop trying to convince me. @Mannequin2009 sorry but someone who says that Britney is famous for lipping doesn't really know her. Especially at the start of her career she sang almost always live and to deny that is to deny that the Earth revolves around the Sun. Sure, most of the time she sings on top of very loud pre-recorded vocals or CD vocals, but she still sings completely live (for example, the Alanis cover) or sings loud with or without backing vocals, like on this tour.

@Mannequin2009 by the way, singing on top of pre-recorded vocals isn't technically lip-synching, which is moving your lips without uttering a single sound. And saying that she is famous for lipping means that she is the only one who doesn't 100% live. But pretty much anybody who puts on big pop shows sings on top of pre-recorded vocals. Madonna does it, Gaga does it and the list could go on. At least Britney dances almost all the time. The others just make a move here and there.

@Mannequin2009 last but not least, when she lip-synchs (that is when she just movs her lips, and she does it often on TV shows), I have no problem saying it. I also acknowledge that during the "Circus" tour the pre-recorded vocals were so loud that you had to be almost on the stage to hear her singing. But on this tour she sings live during most of the show. Saying that she lip-synchs a priori, just because many people think she always does, is just a sign of bad faith and prejudice.

I have to agree with the others here...most of her songs in the tour are sang live, i went last june and you could hear her real live voice...although Im pretty sure till the world ends is 90% lipsynced but other than that she sang every thing live, esp DOnt let me be the last to knoooooooooooouuuuuww?
