There are some hints for that besides the fact that America is the real life equivalent of an Empire in this world and it would make sense for Japan to make them the "bad guys" in many anime.One other hint is the country that the camera zooms out of when showing the entire britannia on the map on the prologues and the other is the funniest and most obvious hint there could be....PIZZA HUT!!!it's like "DO YOU GET IT??"
