Thanks for the video! I am going there in May 2012 with my brother to try to do the same. One question: is a camp at 17,200 needed? It would be great to ski down all the way to the basin and not worry about gear higher up....
I used Dynafit TLT5 boots and TLT speed bindings. The TLT5 boots are the lightest most 'climbing-friendly' AT boots on the market. Swap out the liners, though. The stock ones are not nearly warm enough for Denali.
