this is all I have to say Jak saves worlds. Ratchet saves galaxies! seriously people take that into consideration before you say Jak would win because you like playing his games better. If guns clank and dark/light jak were not included Jak would win because hes more vicious. however give Jak a peacemaker and ratchet a R.Y.N.O. ratchet would destroy hands down.

Jak 123 were awesome! even jak x was ok. but the lost frontier was completetly stupid and had nothing to do with the story line, plus it wasnt even made by naughty dog! But anyways I actually like both video game franchises because they are unique in their own way. But i just find jak to be a little more interesting for my likings.

Ratchet and Clank was developed by Insomniac, Jak and Daxter was developed by Naughty Dog, those two developers were pretty close friends, hence why the games are quite similar. So if them two characters met (PS move heroes), they'd be the ultimate team :)

ratchet... well.. it's good, but i get bored easily while playing it. Jak... nobody can't kill that son of biatch. every time i play jak3 and i see som enemys, i'm yawning and just fucking take my peacemaker and shoot ONE bullet to them. end of the battle. Jak just owned ratchet... why they aren't making anymore Jak game's? because Jak did his job, save the world. now he's chillin' with ladies... and they aren't robot.
I love both series. But I believe Jak would win.. He has Light+dark powers. He can heal himself, he actually has muscle, he can throw A punch with no wrench, he has better weapons (ratchet has good weapons but they cant destroy Jak. Jak, definetly. Jak has MUCH stronger weapons, and don't even say the RYNO is the best weapon. Jak's Peacemaker is 10X better than the RYNO. The peacemaker's one upgrade pretty much knocks out every enemy in the room in Jak 3. And Ratchet has to use a wrench to hit. Seriously? Jak can fly, jump higher, heal himself, shield himself, turn giant, do a dark bomb, a dark blast, and much more. I love both game series but definetly Jak more. But that's probably because I've played Jak for a long time.

Jak can't destroy Ratchet,Ratchet uses armor that can wistand lasers, bombs and falls from great hights, Ratchets health gos up to 200 or more but Jak gots like 12 green dots, Jak can go white , black , anything and he can fire all he wants but he will never destroy Ratchets armor and I'm not talking about the first armor.You cant fight weapons that are mention to destroy entire solar systems.
Besides thet are diferent universes, diferent tecnology and diferent times, Imagine jak in future.

OK look Ratchet's Weapons can damage Jak, But Jak can heal himself and do a bunch of other stuff that Ratchet can't do. Face it, the only way Ratchet Stands a Chance is because of his weapons

Ratchet has a giant tool and wierd guns were as jak can: fly, freeze time, launch a mininuke, turn invisible, ignore gravity, and can turn into a killing machine. Of coarse jak wins...DUMBASS!

You talk about hand to hand, Jak has mystic abilities such as time stopping and a dark blast thats also a nuke, plus healing and a shield. Jak would win hands down. @sinkezie Jak IS better. They say in Jak 2, weapons are for the weak, and Ratchet has like fuckin 50. Jak can transform into dark Jak and light Jak. Jak has a better sense of humor and curses :P. Jak can roll like 20 feet, fly, turn invinsible, put a shield around himself, heal himself, do a dark blast, and a dark bomb, and turn giant.

But even so I still vote Jak, just because he's cool, I like Ratchet but he rarely has a cool moment in his games, only when he looks out for clank or get angry occasionally and it's always comical.

You talk about weapons, Jak has a nuke for the third form of his peace maker, that beats Ratchet's weapons. You talk about hand to hand, Jak has mystic abilities such as time stopping and a dark blast thats also a nuke, plus healing and a shield. Jak would win hands down. Now talk about sidekicks thats differet, Clank can become a 50 foot giant, Daxter a 6-7 foot giant, so Clank wins. Just saying the truth.

@TheStupidoes those weapons work in Ratchets universe, there's no megacorp or gadgetron in Jaks universe as there is no eco in Ratchet's. If we were to place them together in a place where Jak and Ratchet could use their full potentials, Jak would win due to his Eco powers, plus Jak could match the Ryno with the Supernova, the final mode of the Peacemaker

And fly, which eliminates yur idea that Jak wouldnt be able to reach ratchet in time, plus he can make an impenetrable shield, so that tosses out yur idea that Ratchet would blast the shit outta him. Also if Jak did get hurt, he also has the ability to heal himself. ALSO Jak can turn invisible and sneak around Ratchet. Look I love both characters, I have Jak n Dax-Jak X and Ratchet-Ratchet n Clank Up yur arsenal but if they were to fight Jak wud win

I played both and I have to say they are equal Dark jak can not use guns so that sucks all ratchet has to do is use a RYNO or navigator but both in hand combat jak would thrash ratchet with dark jak so there is nothing to say but 1 thing for sure Sly is a loser LOL

@sinkezie Jak IS better. They say in Jak 2, weapons are for the weak, and Ratchet has like fuckin 50. Jak can transform into dark Jak and light Jak. Jak has a better sense of humor and curses :P. Jak can roll like 20 feet, fly, turn invinsible, put a shield around himself, heal himself, do a dark blast, and a dark bomb, and turn giant.

but then again jak's light powers and dark need its' resource of eco. Ratchet would need ammo. So it really depends on the scenario. But even so I still vote Jak, just because he's cool, I like Ratchet but he rarely has a cool moment in his games, only when he looks out for clank or get angry occasionally and it's always comical.

@vergil898 Remember that Clank have 6 mins to save Ratchet....just like in the game...(if you really played it).....so...after Clank saves Ratchet , Jak will have no more light powers because he used them allready and Ratchet will be free to kick Jak's ass with every weapon he likes.....so......RATCHET SAVES THE DAY..........the thousandth time....
