and the 2nd thing i like to go for is coz dslr cam do video as well and by using 50mm the deep of the filed is so cool cant get it from camcorder.. so its all rounder but if i buy tele lens 50mm and then mirco the cost goes more then RS100,000 so is there any allround lens that can do all i like canon eos 60d what u think i should get any model u think coz it gonna be my first dslr.. and i am gonna be father soon so wanna have nice dslr
@tomyloveu: Regarding the make between Canon / Nikon just remember that once you take once model you need to stick to it, Personally I use the Canon coz it has slight edge in the Video dept and I take a lot of videos with my DSLR.
I think you should look at Canon 600D with the Kit 11 lens 18-135mm that can be a good all round lens for starters also I would suggest a 50mm Prime lens dont buy too many lens as take a lot of photos with these 2 lens to understand your DSLR capabilities.
@geekyranjit: Aslo remember that in a DSLR there are 2 things the Body (the camera) and the lens generally u change the body every 3-4 years but the lens stays with you it will work with the new (camera body) so investing in a good lens is good idea in the long run no point spending bomb on the body. When you want a telephoto lens for zoom you can look at 55mm-250mm IS lens (mid zoom lens), and when you are ready you can start buying professional L lens they cost a bomb.
@geekyranjit: I personally use the standard Kit lens (18-55 mm IS lens) and most of the time the prime 50mm for most of my photography, rarely use the telephoto the DSLR camera that I am currently using is Canon 550D (600D is the newer model in this series).
I am justing for over a while on this professional L lens Canon EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM Lens but it is simply out of my budget may be I will be able to buy it some day.
very well said thank u for ur nice clip and info... i too wanna buy dslr coz i always take lot pics... in cousin marriage and lot more to come... just dont know which dslr is best for me coz i am confused between nikon and canon always... and the biggest confused for me is what lens should i buy coz i take lot of close up as well telephoto is there any lens that can be all-rounder that can do mirco close up tele love they pic u taken from ur dslr plz show us what lens u use in ur pic as wel
@YUKAICHUNG1: It's not like that that long lens is know as a telephoto lens which is useful if the subject is very far and you need to zoom in a lot.... its basically a mega zoom lens. I actually use that lens less than 10% in my photography I generally prefer the 50mm prime or use the kit lens most of the time. With a DSLR camera you change the lens depending upon the kind of photography you intend to do.
Like sensor size doesn't matter.
Get out of my shop!!! :D
