I tried to press ctrl + J for the body, but then said "Could not make a new layer from the selection because the selected area is empty.." And i tried another way of duplicating it, but when i press ctrl + t, they said "Could not transform the selected pixels because the selected area is empty." Please help, Thanks

@ElmoLamperouge Idk what you did wrong, but the layer you're trying to duplicare/transform is blank. Double=check to make sure you have the right one selected =)

Hey! Loved the tutorial thank you so much! I now understand the purpose of layers a little better.. One problem I had... I couldn't get the "smile" to "feather"... it was at 5pxt but it didn't do anything...

@arycarenee That's my bad dude! You need to set the feather to 5px BEFORE you actually draw out the smile... haha xD Hope that helps!

@phawtot they do have a portable version that runs like an app that you can send to people, but you usually have to use a flash drive to carry it around since it's too big to email

How did you make the grass not paint over the body of the stick figure when you brushed it?

@caroldep Because the grass was the bottom layer. Drag the grass layer to the bottom if it is over the stick figure

how did you paint using both the forground colour and the background colour at the same time ?

4:25 you say bracket and the hair got smaller? what is bracket and how do u do that?

the left bracket [ (to the right of the letter P on your keyboard) sizes down your brush, whereas the right bracket ] makes a brush bigger

when i color i let up then when i click again when i go back ove it makes it darker can i fix this?

Umm... technically, no, you can't 'fix' that because its not particularly an error. When you're brushing over the same area more than once, its supposed to make the pixels there darker.

That pretty much means that you've selected a layer that doesn't have anything in it, and you can't transform it cause, well, it's a blank layer! lol
