@ilyjb2341 yes it is normal the "smoke" is just vapor from the product you used on your hair or it's more like steam if you are flat ironing wet or damp hair

Thanks for the video! I just purchased a Paul Mitchell v1.25 from my salon today, tried it out, and freaked thinking it was not working like they said it would. Excellent!!. Thank you. My curls disappear right after I finish the whole head when I use 1 inch curling iron, hot rolers, etc. that's why I want to start learn doing curls with flat iron. I hope it holds the curls at least for one day. Do you think if I use a 3/4 curling iron would hold the curls.

Excellent. I just loved it. Everything there gorgeous, glamorous, detailed, Do the curls last all day at least? I have problem to have curls to last, once I finish using the curling iron on whole head, the gorgeous curls disappear from my head. So frustrating and I tried with and without nasty hair spray working and finishing spray.
