Dude your good, I watched Halford last night in Toronto and you can hit all his notes. It's so annoying when u search metal vocals on youtube, all u hear is people growling and screaming. Not one of them actually attempts to "sing", its sad that singing is rare in metals these days.

Ah, the pauses are in the original JP track as well, which is why I do them. Being a guitar player, conscious of timing, and "hearing" the music in my head as I sing, it would sound odd to me if I DIDN'T have the pauses in the vocal where they are supposed to go.

And timing means nothing to me. I tear through a four and a half minute song in two minutes flat, because instrumentals are just not my department, baby. Momentum. It's a sickness.
