  • Youth sentiment...Still kicks ass!

  • They were like nothing else seen before!

  • @cozener1 too true, fully formed, and not only like nothing seen but heard before! Amazing

  • Excuse me, sir, but this is the album version and not even the whole version. Deladi it sucks as it is promoted as a live version and not even the whole version, which sucks. Not the track but the uploader. Official. My ass!

  • GENIUS....VIVA ROXY......TRIBUTE BOWIE....

  • @FuckngBastard Why has this comment been flagged as spam?

  • hate the way u tube has the comments by people doesnt make sense any more keepin best comments to the top isnt relevant. . Its just harder to understand the flow of the comments

  • Loving little Brian Eno, look at him go!

  • Not live at all. either that or they are able to replicate the studio version on stage perfectly! Still a kick-ass song from an epic band XD

  • Must be overdubbed?

  • @fininif yea its an exact match to the original recording?

  • @fininif it is. studioversion.

  • Always LOVED this song and album which I bought when I was 14!

Shame this clip doesn't go ALL the way to the end... :(

  • I remember buying these early LP's from a second hand music store... Magic Forest Music Store... when it was a 9x10 shop on the 2nd floor... back in Fredericton New Brunswick... had no idea what it was but Brian Eno was on them :) STILL LOVE IT

  • I Try but i could no ignore this song, Fashion

  • Mind Blowing! Thank You!

  • What a great song. Have to point out that the audio is the album version though - dubbed on to live video...

  • plus sexy que bryan ferry ca va etre dur c a oui c est un beau mec en plus il est classe .

  • Ye Ha! the early sound of Roxy Music, I used to listen to, and bought an album of these guys in the 70's. Still got the album, open out, but have no way of playing it. (woman on the cover) took from the album a long time ago.

Lucky for me I do have a tape recording from the album mentioned. They were 'Raw & Dynamic'

Bryan Ferry went horribly 'mushy' in the 90's. A lot of musicians, eg. Van Morrison and Elton John lost their early roots and never regained what they had, in my ears anyway.

  • TVC15.....awesome but stolen..

  • @Agree with you mate, but its hard to re capture those early days.....remember the Beatles were a totally differernt band after 1966 and in a positive way.... Bryan pulled it off from another perspective......preferred.....72 to 76 myself....

  • holy shit! THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Check out Phil Manzanera's 801 live with Brian Eno. Just an incredible album! Baby's on FIRE!

  • i found it on cassette at this used book store for 80 cents. it's an awesome album to zone out to and jam out. love it <3

  • Yes!! All of Manzanera's albums are great, and 801 tops 'em all.

  • There are several vids with Roxy featuring Eno on YT. Search for Ladytron for example. Good luck.

  • thanks. i love brian eno. i don't know what i'd do if i never heard roxy music or any of his albums.

  • I love the first album a lot. But you should really check out the YT vids from the Stockholm concert from -76. Great music even though BE wasn´t there.

  • cool. will do. thanks :)

  • He appeared in virginia plain as well!! its just sometimes the camera hardly ever turns to brian -_-

  • cool video, for a lip-synch.

  • good clip...eno's roxy - great band.

  • CPL593H! (wth. does that mean anyway :) )

  • I think it was the license number of Ferry's car at the time. :)

  • Close. It was the licence plate of a car belonging to some girl he saw driving by and fancied (though he didn't know her).

  • Roxy Music was far before my time :P, but I really love them, awesome music man!

My dad owns like all their albums ;)

  • Why so short?

    More please!!!

    Great stuff

  • Great Pop-music!

  • My comment is for justin2535

  • Very well said!

You got a tongue of a cobra...

And a heart of gold! :)

  • =D

    hé, thanks! :p

I think we have to defend Roxy Music against people who don't know anything about it :p

  • For a live performance this sure sounds, note by note, like the original.

  • I think this the studio recording mixed with some live footage.

  • Oh I know that, I was being sarcastic.

  • Ah, after I posted the comment, I already thought you were. Amazing live performance. ;)

  • Superb! Pity it finishes early. Roxy music were at their best in the early days. The first three albums were brilliant. Country Life was OK but after that they were middle of the road crap. Dance Away? Avalon? Ugh!

  • One of my favorite Roxy Songs and I dancing left and Right "She's the Sweetest Queen I ever seen "

  • J'adore cette vidéo qui nous replonge dans la folie de cette époque ! C'est un pur bonheur ! J'adore Bryan Ferry avec ou sans Roxy Music, il m'épate car il sait tout faire, et avec un tel talent !

  • We're still waiting for the new DVD in USA. sigh

  • WHAT DVD? WHAT DVD? please tell me tell me!!!!

  • The Thrill of It All, released back in February, includes many videos from the beginning to about 1982 or so. It's worth buying.

  • ty so much for info!

  • Hello! A comment from Norway:

I love the earlier videos! But I have to say that Mr.Ferry is even better to day. The voice of Bryan become better and better. Re-make/Re-model is on the DVD, from the same concert. I just hope it's not that short...

  • Fantastic! Too bad about the early cutoff. Perhaps this is on the new DVD, Roxy 1972-82.

  • CPL 593H

  • Next time is the best time.
