  • Would u like a copy of one of the shows

  • I actually had this album. love to get it again

  • You can get it from Amazon, The CD was released in 2001

Reissue of 1977 album plus demos and live tracks

  • whos singing

  • Yes! Takes me (Way) back, saw them all around Conn. Good memories! Wish the guys would put something together again on a more frequent basis...

  • anyone remember the "Flying Tigers"??? I think they put that band together after this one.

  • @905Alive They did. I have six concerts of theirs on mp3.

  • @beatlephantom , wow, I saw them at Toads and they blew me away.

  • Great riff. I remember buying this album when it came out, feeling sad that Alice and the band had split. Still love them all and have great memories of being a teen and crazy about the AC band! Alice is still my No. 1 after 37 years. Love to all AC fans X

  • This song is great, it could just be that I'm too big of a fan of any of the original ACG members because really I think they were one of the most talented rock bands that ever existed. They were one of the top 5 most influential bands ever. This band was the first band to have props and a stage show, today almost every band out there has some sort of set up on stage or some ridiculous image cus of this band. Alice was dressing weird before everyone, even Elton John and Bowie.

  • I wanted to like this, but it kinda lame. I know they can do better, i wonder what the rest of the record sounds like..think i'll track it down.

  • Is this the guitarist singing here ?, was this an Alice Cooper project or did it have a different name ?

  • Michael Bruce is singing. As Alice Cooper was pursuing his solo career members of the original band put together a new group called Billion Dollar Babies. The members were Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith (three from the original group), Bob Dolan (he played keyboards with the original Alice Cooper group on albums and on tour), and new guitarist Mike Marconi.

  • This video does not do the band justice ! You Alice in it,what the frig is wrong with you????

  • @siatras1 make a better one, without just posting pix. Good luck.

  • cool.

  • WOW. this song was cool.

I'm a big Alice Cooper fan, and I think I need to get this album, Battle Axe! Anyone know where I can get it?

  • me thinks the group were underated, picked up a japanese copy of this item (LP) last year for a give away £10 (british pounds)

  • did someone say the paid 90 quid for the 3cd set, i got that for a tenner brand new out my local music shop

  • i got the record at a melbourne 2nd hand store fa $2.00 few years back

great album , ... why do people always complain alice continued, was he supposed to stop cause the other guys didnt want to continue the theatrics?? if he hada stopped and become a has been. it'd be a a world full of shit money makin music!

as u can see with todays music, alice cooper as a group and solo is AWESOME!!!!!

  • A poster?!?!?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!? I've seen quite a few on eBay but not one with fuckin' poster! Damn... I now must find the poster! The one I got came with the Michael Bruce card from the Billion Dollar Babies album! Wish it had the poster, though!

  • If you can't find it try eBay. They'll have the LP every now and then for around $15.00 wuth shipping and handling. Suprisingly no-one bids on them! I picked up a NM White Label Promo for under $10.00!

  • My friend told me he paid more than that for a copy years ago, came with a poster!

  • The story just keeps going I love this band thanks for posting I gotta get this CD please post whole album

  • I will try to post as much as I can!

  • Nice raritie, not rare for me though, I got it on my birthday for 90 quid... The box set (3cd) complete battle axe, so good!

  • can anyone help me with this one i,ve been looking for an album by a band called the hounds, they did a heavy metal version of the rolling stones song under the board walk.i,m not too sure how many albums they put out but this is another hard to find metal band album.

  • Excellent song. The "Battle Axe" album kicks ass.

"Love Is Rather Blind" and "Rock & Roll Radio" (Neal Smith on lead vocals) are other favourites of mine from that album.

  • Neal's solo album is for sale on his site, but I like the tracks he did with the BDB better.... the one thing I love of his is "Baby Don't Stop/Baby Don't Go"... soon as I get an mp3 I will make a vid for that too!

  • holee shit 15-20yrs i,ve looked in countless record stores and 2nd hand stores for this record finally its on internet albeit utube fucking great to hear this relatively obscure post alice cooper band they coulda done better than the next to nothin reviews the band got considering micheal bruce wrote all of alice coopers songs, alice cooper went on to bigger things on his back.

  • I agree! Someone very close to me told me the same story! He spent YEARS looking for the record, and had to pay 30 bucks for it, he said it was like finding the Grail! I've been able to find some MP3s, I will put more songs up as soon as I can!
