  • Watched this movie last night. Very powerful.

  • I am 12 years of age and i cryed my hardest when i seent he movie.

  • What would 70 million paperclips look like for representing the people who died under Mao? These people probably never heard of him if they thin 6 million is bad...

  • That was my middle School the Grey headed old lady was our principal she's retired now

  • People are killed in every war. Sometimes much more than 6 million are exterminated. Have you students ever asked yourself why it is so important that they remind you of these Jews being killed OVER and OVER again, every time you turn around even 60+ years later? The harder you have to sell a product, the shittier the product is. How hard are they working to sell you on the holocaust?

  • 50 to 70 million people died in WWII, the number is so great that there is an estimated 20 million error discrepancy...

  • I aint never seen 5 before (southern accent) lmao. rednecks.

  • I watched this movie in school and I thought it was pretty good. I mean, it's no Food Inc., but it's well made and told an incredible story. I can't believe *SPOILER ALERT* That they eventually got 25 million paper clips. Their goal was only 6 million for the jewish people that were killed.

  • dude this was the most awsome movie ever i love what they did i cried the whole class was crying it was so sad

  • My class is supposed to watch this tomorrow at school and this looks really good i really am looking forward to tomorrow but i have a feeling it will be really sad

  • @Caydgirlz Yup!I'm gonna sit beside you tomorrow!in the gym! :D

  • that was a really good movie my 6th grade s.s teacher showed it to us and it was good!! we rased money to help that keep going ;)

  • Bio2shock, I'm also in 8 grade and I'm coming to visit the memorial in a couple days on my way to Atlanta for my 8 th grade trip

  • we collecte shoelaces at our school and had a holocaust museum in library we didnt get a million tho but still we were trying to get about 2860 i think thats how much idk (thats # of how much they killed per day at auswitz) but we got more than that and also 2 holocaust survivors talked to us

  • I am reading the book and so far it is excellent!

I don't know what to say......and I'm glad so many people are trying to prevent history from repeating itself...What happened with the nazis and hitler was horrific-.- I'm glad there are survivors out there today telling their story to us....^^

  • Ooohh,if any movie deserves a reccomendation,I pick this one!

  • Wow this movie was amazing we just watched it in literacy. There were literally no dry eyes in the room!

  • im in that school now...8th grade

  • Im in whitwell middle school as a 7th grader. Phil Bredeson was at our school last tuesday. I love Whitwell!

  • Hey i went to school there! Linda Hooper was my middle school principal, I'm a junior now, and I think I'm in the 2nd documentary they made in my 8th grade year at our school. I wasn't in the original project but I gave tours of the rail car. I felt really good when i was teaching them about the car because i felt by telling their story i was honoring them. and there are like a lot more paper clips now. We still have ppl today donating them.

  • scared

  • i saw this doc today...

why does everybody keep saying 'Hitler killed 6 million jews'?!

what about the 'OTHER' 5 MILLION, who are sometimes mentioned as an afterthought? it's an atrocity to fail to mention the gypsys, Pols, homosexuals & the physically and mentally infirm. they didn't deserve death either...

  • There is 11 million paperclips in the railcar to represent all of them

  • i saw this at skewl too

  • i saw this at school, we finished it today!

    very good

  • ... I cried when the survivor talked about that his 3 year old brother and mother were gased and killed... These were people who were taken away from everything they had and murdered simply beacuse they were who they were. 6 million... 91% of Jews died in Asshuwitz. How would you like it if someone came into your home took you and seperated you from your family into diffrent camps where they touemented, mudered, and worked to death you and your family simply beacuse you were you. Think about it!

  • I say they should take on a more meaningful project, like documenting the name, history and death records of each and every one of those 6 million jews then create a database..What do you think?..There would be no opposition to such a thing from jews Im sure.

  • i think that it would just be very emotional.

  • I am watching this now

  • i just saw this movie today it was excellent!!!!!!!!!

  • I watched in school and i got to donate a paper clip in memory of my great uncle.... I cried for hours after we watched it because i had almost forgotton that i had the chance to take part in this project
