  • the magic have better starters like shaq oneil

  • there is no defense that can stop MJ.

  • I like how Jordan credits his team before speaking about himself. You don't see that from superstars these days...

  • penny was a heck of a player back in his prime. sort of a combo magic/michael like bron only not as athletic or big. if penny hadn't gotten injured would he have been better than kobe (i.e. better shot selection not as much of a jacker/more of a playmaker=more efficient)? i guess we'll never know. it's too bad this series didn't go longer to watch a prime penny/shaq go at da bulls.

  • @g0ldbuG had the bulls been champions the previous year i don't know if they would've won as many games (72) w/ teams all giving them their best shot every night. jordan had rest too coming off his retirement and early exit from the playoffs the year before to the same team and he was not to be denied.

  • @g0ldbuG why didn't those old great celtics/lakers teams win 70+? if 60s celtics can win 8 championships in a row yet they can't win 70? what gives? they would've had sheer intimidation factor on their side by winning so many titles, too.

  • In 1995 Nick Anderson told to everybody that the 23 was better than the 45... He was right the 23 swept him in 1996. Jordan 6 NBA CHAMPIONSHIPS, Anderson 0....

  • pippen cant hang with penny at 3:51

  • phil smile ur going the finals jeezess

  • School's Out!

  • penny was fuckin scottie up early in this one tho...u gotta give him credit

  • I would like to save Jordan's DNA and clone him as his younger self... THAT would be tight with today's HD cameras and all... WHOO! Subscribe! :) He would do different moves too with different people guarding him and different situations on the court!

  • 5:25 thats what the fuck i'm talking about!

  • I figured after the Orlando Magic eliminated the Chicago Bulls from the NBA Playoffs in the previous season that Michael Jordan would show the league no mercy this year. I wasn't surprised with the Bulls run 1996-98. The Magic had to see this coming, Michael Jordan would personally POUND points through the baskets on teams, then when you try to collapse on him defensively, he finds the open man immediately. That dreaded Fade-away jumpshot was unblockable because he would fade back SO FAR, MJ#1.

  • look at the guy at 6:10

  • The 1995-96 Magic were the winningest team in franchise history with 60 victories, but MJ & the Bulls made those 60 wins irrelevant, just like the 64 wins Seattle had. This would be Shaq's final game in Orlando, few weeks later he signed with the L.A. Lakers, after the Hornets traded Kobe Bryant for Vlade Divac. That would lead to the Shaq and Kobe show, but Shaq & Co. were swept by Utah in '97 & '98 and San Antonio in '99. Then Phil Jackson came along, and Shaq would be finally get his rings!

  • @kcthatsawinner So they bought refs in 2002 vs sacramento ...

    /watch?v=IdOe4IxIvo0

    Btw. Watch all parts

  • @kcthatsawinner Exactly. This series might have had the most impact on the future of the NBA than any other series in recent history. If Orlando wins this series then they win the title - Seattle was good but not good enough. There's no way Shaq leaves a team that just won it all and has a chance to win a few more. Even if they still lost but made it a competitive 6-7 game series I think Shaq thinks twice about leaving. Instead he gets embarrassed and flees to LA, they trade Vlade for Kobe...

  • @gf4670 Shaq wanted to stay but the Magics didn't want to give him "a lot of money", so he choose the Lakers... Result he won 4 titles and the Magics never since he left... Very bad Management !

  • this game should've been one of the jordan challenges in nba 2k11

  • I remember this era, when the magic the hottest kids on the block, Shaq and penny. But like every other pretender, Jordan made them come back to earth.

  • Classic, well putogether. I remember watching this game, MJ Was in killer mode.

  • Woah.. Pennys move at 3:40!

  • Shaq pulled a LeBron smh!!!!!

  • 8:25 = the backbreaker!!!

  • 16/22 ... thats unheard of for a player thats taking predominantly jump shots...no one can do that any more...

  • Who was the coach who stated that the Orlando would beat the Bulls in this series. There was talk about the 1996 Bulls being one the best teams in history. A former coach (either Vancouver or Toronto), scoffed, "Best team in history?? They're not even the best team in the league. Orlando is the best team in the league. When they get down to the conference finals, who's gonna guard Penny, who's gonna guard Shaq." Well seems like the Bulls did a pretty good job. I wish I knew the coach's name.

  • Head Coach for Vancouver-Brian Winters

It was a Toronto coach since they beat the Bulls once during this season. Brendan Malone was a coach for three of the Bulls rivals, the Pacers, Knicks and Pistons prior to his one year tenure as Raptors coach.

He was eventually replaced by Darrell Walker, a Chicago native that shared 1st team rookie honors with MJ and a one-time Bull with whom he won a title with in 93. I don't think he trashed his hometown team since he was the 96-97 coach for Toronto.

  • Did Jordan just kiss a white dude on 9:09 :o

  • Lol the whole starting five of that Orlando team disliked this video for some reason

  • You know when your gonna lose a big playoff game if you start John Koncak.

  • "IT WAS MY TURN" GOAT

  • That description is so sick because it's true...Despite what the numbers show, anyone who had seen Jordan's play previous to his retirement knew that he wasn't himself in 1995, especially during the playoffs. That drove him to regain his powers-- Kind of like when Superman turned himself into a mortal so that he could be with Lois Lane, but then Zod and his minions attacked Earth. MJ had to regain his powers. It began by switching back to the #23. It ended by winning a 4th NBA title.

  • Did Marv said 16-22 from the Field? WOOW Thats greatness. Kobe cant do those numbers. It take Kobe 45-50 attempts to get 40+ pts lol.

  • @mistanderson stop exaggerating please...but i will say kobe's % is the worse out of jordan kobe and lebron..mainly because he takes ill advised shots but also in the last 3 years he has injured his fingers and hands one way or another,..

  • @fatpatlives1998 michael was playing with his index finger tendon damaged for 3 years.

  • hardaway was fuckin pippen

  • Rodman is true about what he said in 2:59

  • Comment removed

  • Rodman is so true 2:59

  • the magic old jerseys and court are sooo much better than the current ones

  • payback time!!!

  • I Hate Shaq..But i always Love MJ! LoL

  • one of his most imporant games and he started 7/7 from the field. godlike Mike

  • I actually prefer this older post-move addicted version of Jordan over his younger one.

  • @Paragon231 yea sometimes when Jordan did a pump fake or a little move for the fadeaway it was sicker than a high flying dunk.

  • Ooow waaah, i want a plaace too say, get yo booty on the floor toonnight, make my day: pump up the jam: pumpit up:why yo feet r stompin:and the jam is pumpin:look at it got the crowd jumpin: pump it up a lil more:get the party goin on the dance floor:see cause thats where the partys at:and ur fine dinin to bad:ooow wahaah!

  • Only Jordan could carry a mediocre team (aside from Pippen and Rodman) to three straight titles in the mid to late 90's!!!! Imagine if his teams were stack like the 80's Lakers or both Celtics dynasty teams.

  • @TheEntertainmentonly these bulls were not that mediocre. 72-10, that team had and fulfilled their responsiblity..this was the best team ever!!

  • @Xavier1215 Your winning championships with two mediocre players (Bill Wennington @ Luc Longley at Center). One dimensional Steve Kerr (whose a three point threat), wash-up Ron Harper, @ Randy Brown (very mediocre) at guard!!! Not to mention mediocre Simpkins and Caffey @ Forward. The only player with All-star-like talent off the bench was Kukoc!!! (And if you want to count) Parish and Williams in '97!! Believe me, without the triangle offense, these guys wouldn't be in the league!!!

  • @TheEntertainmentonly i feel you on that..did Parish even play in 97 b/c I thought he was gone by then. Hell he was one lucky guy playing with the 85-86 Celtics (with that 40-1 home record) and part of the Bulls.

  • @Xavier1215 P.S. The early 90's Bulls (unlike the late 90's teams/ and not counting Jordan or Pippen) were loaded. They had Bill Cartwright (who was a 20/10 guy in NY), Grant (who was among the best 4-men in the game), Paxson (underrated player) Armstrong, Levingston, Williams, and Hansen in 1992. The only mediocre players were Hodges, Perdue, and King. Now those teams were among the best in league history!!!

  • @TheEntertainmentonly You're an idiot...Cartwright was way past his prime when we got him and there are two reason we did. First was because Oakley was whining and bitching about all the plays being run for MJ early in his career and Cartwright was a more mild mannered I don't need to shoot 20x a game and second was we needed a tall big body to bang against Ewing, Daugherty, Parish and others in the late 80's early 90's who could get fouls and wasn't a huge part of the offense.

  • @TheEntertainmentonly Levinston and Hansen were very mediocre at best and I believe Hansen was like the 10th or 11th guy coming off the bench pretty much out of the rotation. At the time Hodges was the best 3 point shooter in the NBA at that point and King and Perdue while not living up to the hype were the first guys off the bench to give Cartwright and Grant a breather. So I am not sure what the hell you were watching back then but it wasnt the early 90's Bulls.

  • @ 6:07 Jordan took FLIGHT .... POW !

  • LOL! Joe Wolf and Jon Koncak on the same team. All the magic needed that year was to replace a. hardaway, n. anderson, and s. o'neal with marty conlan bobby hurley and john crotty and they would have been the washington generals of the NBA

  • G.O.A.T...

  • Damn that was a nice Rebound to Fast Break from RODMAN......

I wish there was someone like him in the NBA today...

A solid Defender, Rebounder and Transision Passer.

  • MJ = Best Ever

  • this would be the last time Shaq and Penny were wearing the same uniform at the same time

  • lol I notice that they changed the paint configuration at the Orlando arena between 95 and 96 (they made the point primarily blue instead of primarily black).

  • i miss 6'7 Point guards.

  • MICHAEL JORDAN AT HIS BEST!!! Everyone kept on talking about how he chocked in the 95 finals. I remember this game very clearly. WHAT AN A## W##ping. One last thing i have to say is that, Once Michael dominated the game there was no stoping him! NOBODY. I have not seen a player DOMINATE the game like he did.

  • Honestly I think the reason the Bulls Sonics series went to 6 was cuz the Bulls weren't really trying hard in those games. The Bulls I think coulda swept their way right through the playoffs if they went 100% every night.

  • to the 2010 celtics if going to win the series...watch what this bulls team do

  • The Bulls just simply FLATTENED everyone in their way in 1996; this 4-game sweep of Orlando merely provided the exclamation point. Seattle did push Chicago to 6 games in the Finals, but there was no way the Bulls would be denied. Side note...this proved to be Shaq's final game with the Orlando Magic.

  • And this was the end of Penny and ShaQ era.

  • i loved that year because they had jordan as a scrub againts haradawy due tot he elimination a yr prior. jordan came back and beat his assssssssssssssss.

  • @The2012Prophet Imagine if he gave it his all! 239-67 Bulls win!

  • 9:19 this is the image we will see in 1 month from today from not only SHAQ, but from JEBRON LAMES as well, maybe holding hands?

  • Orlando arena was such a great place, its a crying shame that it will be gone in a few years. It certainly wasnt the most luxurious arena, but it had so much character.

These new arenas these days are so bland, they all look the same and they have no atmosphere.

  • kOrOne79 Play basketball? Then you need to see this - 50 inch vertical (dot) com. I highly recommend it! I m 5 5 and started dunking quickly after 4 weeks of the training!

Chicago Bulls @ Orlando Magic | 1996 Playoffs | ECF Game 4: Jordan seals the sweep

  • shit yo kOrOne79 this vid is excellent if you're interested in dunking you need to start doing this today - | 50 inch vertical [dot] com |

    holler at you later kOrOne79

  • jordan is the best cause his basics were way better than anyones add that wif his natural ability THE GOAT OF NBA. miss these days,

  • is this just a scam cuz everyvid i do theres someone that always says this

  • Shaq was just a lazy...lazy...talented individual. If he had the work ethic Jordan had....were talking about an extra three to four rings here.

  • The stars of today dont have nothing on jordan or penny, grant hill. The game was so much better then.

  • dude is this the same person posting tha samething over and over again

  • that jordan dunk over penny, while penny ducks away from mike was a classic senerio, but man that move that shaq did to make that dunk is something you would think only exist in NBA Live LOL

  • the dunk i was refering to in regards to mike was at 6:11 and the NBA Live based move i was refering to was at 6:20

  • damn penny was a beast! he could've been sth. like the next mj... too bad he got those injuries! he killed like anything in the league at that time!

  • @ede38 He didn't kill MJ!

  • MJ FOREVER

  • Did anybody see at 6:11 Penny ducks out the way

  • this is an entirely different level of basketball

  • @nwbronx7 his airness, pip, and taco dennis!!!!

  • @nwbronx7 scottie would just make todays players cry. playoffs would be a joke.

  • i was 10 yearz old, remember this series well, i was sooooo happy MJ redeemed himself after the shocking 95 embarassment, the magic were madd cocky & were talking madd shyt too, a sweep was sooooooo satisfying!

  • @RasXcellent1 he had to treat Shaq like Isaiah Thomas real quik for gettin cute.

  • Comment removed

  • when boxing out rodman why didn't scott try to get the rebound at 5:15. and look who got it and scored of course.

  • Rodman was blatantly fouling him throughout that sequence.

  • 8:32 Steve Kerr wants to say that it was a traveling.

  • Yeah Penny was pretty much done by then he was never himself again.

  • dude the dennis scott guy for the magic looks like mo peterson from new orleans

  • it think hardaway hurt his knee for the first time in this game

  • incredible year for the untouchabulls!!!!!

  • Was this Shaq's last game for the Magic?

  • yup..after this Shaq left to the LAKERS

  • yes so

  • This game is a classic.

I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks for the post korone79.

  • 45 pts...16-22 shooting...man no wondering he's the G.O.A.T.

  • Jordan would've still scored his points but Penny with sore knees and Anderson out, the Magic had no one to get in front of Jordan. The quickest healthy player they could put on him was Anthony Bowie? Not shocked he got 45 points!

  • Those sneakers Mike had on were the Greatest of all time (11's)

  • Watching these videos never gets old. The Bulls were the best team of all time. Everyone knows they have a great offense and the best player of all time. But this was the best, quickest, most disruptive defense of all time. Jordan, Harper, Pippen, Rodman...I mean they just shut down teams whenever they want to in the clutch. I love watching this when the NBA was great.

  • "But this was the best, quickest, most disruptive defense of all time"

I'd wager that DEFENSIVELY, the 1st 3-peat bulls were a bit BETTER..

  • exactly... watch any of these vs. Orlando videos, granted they are edited, you can see their crazy defensive intensity.

  • This was paidbacks

  • yea...exactly..i was really mad when Magic won in 95...but MJ got the last laugh

  • 20-29 (69%) vs Philly 1993

    19-31 (61%) vs Phoenix 1993

    18-28 (64%) vs Philly 1996

    21-28 (75%) vs Detroit 1996

    18-30 (60%) vs New York 1997

    19-28 (68%) vs Seattle 1997

    18-26 (69%) vs Atlanta 1997

    15-22 (68%) vs Milwaukee 1997

    18-31 (58%) vs Houston 1998

Those are all regular season games though. He didn't score 60 in every game, but then again he didn't get the jumpshooter free throw star treatment Kobe does.

  • Jordan averaged a lot of free throws in his earlier years, but that was a time when he attacked the basket on every opportunity. Here are some playoff shooting stats btw: 20-34 (59%) vs Philly 1991 15-18 (83%) vs LA Lakers 1991 21-34 (62%) vs Miami 1992 20-30 (67%) vs Miami 1992 18-30 (60%) vs New York 1993 21-37 (57%) vs Phoenix 1993 16-23 (70%) vs Orlando 1996 22-35 (63%) vs Washington Bullets 1997 16-22 (73%) vs New Jersey 1998
  • @kOrOne79 kobe does not get freethrow treatment are u serious mj got way more then kobe ever has ur juz a biased person if u dnt see that

  • "mj got way more (FT attempts) then kobe ever has"

Oh really? Then please explain to us why kobe scores a HIGHER % of his career pts from the FT line (25.1%) than MJ did (22.9%)?

I'd love an explanation for that..

  • @blackadam06 FUCK YOU!!! stop comparison kobe to MJ....Kobe wouldn't reach what's JORDAN done....wtf@#$

  • "stop comparison kobe to MJ"

I didn't start it, so how can I stop it?

"Kobe wouldn't reach what's JORDAN done"

In case U haven't been paying attention (which appears to be the case), that's my entire argument. I agree..

  • 19-31 (61%) vs Orlando 1990 19-28 (68%) vs Charlotte Hornets 1990 23-37 (62%), 20-34 (59%) and 20-29 (69%) vs Cleveland, New York and Miami in succession 1990 21-29 (72%) vs Boston 1990 18-28 (64%) vs New Jersey 1991 19-29 (66%) vs Milwaukee 1991 17-22 (77%) vs Golden State 1991 19-29 (66%) vs Milwaukee 1992 21-32 (66%) vs Cleveland 1992 19-30 (63%) vs Washington Bullets 1992 21-32 (66%) vs Cleveland 1992 (again) 18-30 (60%) vs Golden State 1992 21-35 (60%) vs Charlotte Hornets 1993
  • To be fair, Jordan had some nice shooting games himself: 20-29 (69%) vs Indiana 1986 22-32 (69%) vs Philly 1987 19-27 (70%) vs Indiana 1987 20-31 (65%) vs Cleveland 1987 19-27 (70%) vs Sacramento 1988 21-34 (62%) vs Portland 1988 19-32 (59%) vs Boston 1988 21-27 (78%) vs Detroit 1988 18-27 (67%) vs New York 1988 24-29 (83%) vs Philly 1988 19-27 (70%) vs Denver 1988 18-30 (60%) vs Cleveland 1988 19-31 (61%) vs Cleveland 1989 18-29 (62%) vs Dallas 1989
  • Are you a retard ? Jordan did that more than once in the PLAYOFFS

Kobe is just shit when the game really matters and when he plays a good team

  • twmetal4ever: Im glad you understand what I´ve been saying for a long time. Bryant is crap when it really matters in the playoffs/finals. but Jordan was always dominant

  • MJ scored 63 in a playoff game in his rookie year, dumbass

  • He scored 63 points in a playoff game in his second year, dumbass

  • Of course, MJ did...dumbass!!

  • People wonder why smaller gaurds gaurded MJ. You can see here what he do when bigger players try to gaurd him. Dennis scott was bigger and taller than Jordan and MJ was just way too fast for him. Your best chances of defending him was to use a speedy gaurd to body him and force him to shoot jumpers.

  • Nobody could stop MJ, hell, hes the greatest!

  • manigault

  • wtf are you talking about?

  • oh you don't know..... well manigault as in earl manigault was the best player of all time. nicknamed the goat, Greatest Of All Time. know your shit boy.

  • I never heard of him because he isn't the greatest!!!...Mj is the greatest!!!

  • Those youngsters just don't know who the GOAT was.

  • That was a sick dunk at 6:10!

  • 8:58-9:04 Jordan: ''you can't stop me!''

  • @ 6:09

Hardaway tries to smartly deceive the refs acting like Pippen's fouling him. Lol.....

Still Jordan explodes on the that dunk though. On a photograph it looks like Afernee is ducking for his royal airness, because he knows. LOL!!

But he just tried to play the refs cause he knew he was outnumbered and that was the only way he maybe could prevent the easy basket.....

  • Jordan was so sick....... there will never be anyone greater.

  • You guys will be lucky to make the playoffs now!! VC wont help you lol

  • 4:45 soo funny! (look at Rodman jumping n playin!)

  • jon koncock @1:19 looks like a cross between paul walker and sean william scott (steve stifler)

  • Yes he does LMFAO!! He's a draft bust picked no. 5 overall in 1985 over Hall of famer Joe Dumars and future hall of famer Karl Malone. And over many other solid players and all-stars like Detlef Schrempf, Chris Mullin, Charles Oakley, Terry Porter and A.C. Green.

  • Ah, Jordan loving and Kobe bashing. My people! : ]

  • i hate kobe bryant

  • jus this game alone shows how much kobe has copied MJ's game. The jumpshot, the facial expressions before and during an interview. Its insane to hear him say he idolized magic

  • i like horace grant alot better on the chicago team than orlando

  • Rodman's Line-up picture is hilarious. LMFAO!!

  • It looks like Jordan traveled at 8:10 lol

7:03 AMAZING rebound and pass by Rodman. And amazing finish by Pippen. The 96' Bulls were the best team in the entire NBA history.

Great game for Jordan... I taped this game too. NBA on NBC with Marv Albert rules!! Screw ESPN/ABC - they suck so bad! Nothing beats NBA on NBC theme music.

  • they should make a box set dvd on the top 50 (or more) of Michael Jordan's greatest games in HD with Marv Albert/Matt Goukas commentary!!! I am still waiting for something like that. because it's honestly just a shame that he could not watch the world's greatest in High Def!!!

  • love how they chant defense..but then MJ cans another jumoer, but theres still very loud cheers. and damn penny was good. i hope d-rose turns out to play like him

  • Jordan was just torching them wth that fadeaway.

  • GODDAMN HE WAS GOOD!

How DARE people try to compare the legendary MJ to Kobe Bryant or Lebron James, there is NO comparison to make once or ever.

He was and still is the BEST! :D

  • actually in fact you can compare MJ to LeBron as LeBron is one of the greatest players of our generation, but obviously MJ is the best. No matter what though cause LeBron is still young and we have alot more to see of him.

  • Yup.... whens the last time Kobe got 45 on 23 shots?

Kobes line would be 12 for 39, 20 for 25 from the line.

  • lol

  • You gotta love that pass by Rodman @ 7:06 !

  • Michael Jordan destroyed Anthony Bowie in this game. And who the hell is John Koncak? LMFAO!!

  • this is shaqs final game with magic

  • Penny ruined his own career with premature comeback attempts.

  • The fadeaway at 7:50-7:54... work of art!

  • 45 points...16-23 shooting, better than Kobe the other night, as a 33 year old, on a sprained ankle and with a stomach virus. That's why the man's the GOAT!

  • what a time! Basketball was good, Rap was strong, 2pac was alive, Biggie was alive...but nowadays we got SHIT!!!!

  • woww phil jackon

  • wow!.....33 year old Jordan was better than current 30-31 year old Kobe Bryant! AMAZING!!!!

  • i totally agree. thats why i hate when they compare him to jordan. He is the greatest right now jordan was the greatest of all time

  • thank you! MJ 4 life <3

  • true!!! mj WAS bigger THAN THE gAME!!!!

  • that man is the best basketball player i've ever seen

  • SWEEEEP!!!

  • damn and orlando had a 6'7 and 6'6 guard. y weren't the magic better with penny and shaq? Doesn't that show how great kobe and phil are?

Kobe better than penny (a hell of a player), phil better than orlando coach.

  • how often do you see 2 6'6 guards?

  • 72-10...no one was or could stop the BULLS!!! \m/

  • Rule #1: In the 90's...you shall never eliminate Jordan from the Playoffs. In doing so you'll only make him angry and he will sweep you with in vengence the very next year. First the 91' Pistons...now the 96' Magic.

  • shaq!!!!!!

  • peeny was so creative player in those days! what about the move at 6:59,he passed pippen so easily! what a move!
