I got this game on my xp. It runs smoothly after setting the compatibility for windows 95. I wish it wouldn't bomb out on windows 7 when you click load or save. That was a 32bit windows windows 7 I tried playing this on.

It was impossible to destroy even a parasite with a bunch of lasers, emps and machine guns only for 1 turn.

i had 3...4....5 years when i played that!!!!!!!

i didnt remember the name...MissionForce Cyber storm.....i only remeber that ended with storm :S

but i found it!!! i remeber the mocels of the robots!!!! the first its "Remora" and the big its "The ogre" andremeber "The Giant" and "The Shadow" ...aaa...memories of robotic violence

loved this game to bits on my old-ass PC back in the day. played it to death and that patch gave it an extra difficulty level. I sure miss the old Sierra classics!

I play Megamek nowadays for my turn-based robot fix, but this one has a ton of nostalgia. I've got the CD in my drawer, who knows? :-)

This would have been a great multi-player LAN game, but unfortunately I was almost never able to get multi-player working.

It WAS a great multiplayer game. I was upset when Sierra took the internet support offline.

a great game

it works on XP in you use the installer of an other sierra game, as hunter hunted, just put the cyberstorm cd before clicking install in the setup (not in autorun)

oh man loved this game, pity the sequel sucked ass, if anyone can remember it that is :P

i really loved the sequel, thought it kicked ass although i was pretty young then -_-

the realtime feature was pretty bad i guess, since the shield fills up holes too fast then, making the cannons almost always just do the small penetrate dmg :P

It will. You just need to set it to run in Windows95 compatibility mode.

You have to right-click the executable file, choose properties and then tick the "Run in compatibility mode" option.
