Kat atonia sounds like no other band in the world today. In my humble opinion, they are arguably the greatest "heavy" band since Led Zeppelin, Their brilliant mix of hard with melodic is amazing. They touch my soul. Thanx for the add. Great song...great video!

I am happy to say Katatonia's music is 'gothic' (although their music defies such a simplistic categorisation). Yet where they may be somewhat goth, not in this grotesque and angst driven manner. Dark, artistic, and, moody, melancholic yes, maybe a tad romantic, but not not this. I don't think the video matches the song (save for the scenary), nor the album as a whole, and nor the band. 3 stars vid - 5 for song = 4 stars. It's kind of teen idea of goth. The album is a masterpiece btw.

i loved the video. i think its testament to how you can think you know what the artist is saying, but you may only be close or even have no idea. it gave me perspective on the lyrics, and it made me think more about what this song means to Katatonia and not just me. Personally it could have been more epic, but, Katatonia again does what they want, not what everyone in the normal everyday world wants. So there you have it. The album is amazing BTW.

Alright , I commented yesterday but this time I will be more honest. I love Katatonia and their music is unique but this is what I have to say for this video; I like the color gradient but this does not seem to reflect Katatonia's depth. I would expect something of this kind to pop up in a Malice Mizer video.(good music, bad videos,) But not Katatonia. However I embrace the fact that the new album is good, and change is essential these days.

I like the timelapse but this is below the band's level. Plus this song is not the best of this album (even though the album is good) This type of video may be good for sites like vampire freaks and it might add publicity to the band (which is not bad).

I actually thought the video was well done also, for the most part. I liked the color grading, though I thought the sped up parts were in poor taste, and some of the 'horror' mood of the video didn't quite fit the song. Just having a girl walking and exploring the woods would have been fine. Decent effort for sure, and everyone totally dismissing the video completely surely don't know the effort that goes into things like this.
