Noelle who became Silver Kane was played by Rosalind Ingledew who's name later changed on TV to Rosalind Allen. She got better and better. So unique. Would love to see her back!

I so love these older episodes. They really need to make All My Children like they did in the 80's and 90's, I really think they would get more and better ratings!!

It will be hard to get AMC like it was in the late 80s to early 90s (which is considered a golden age for the show) since the idiot in charge of ABC Daytime does not know a thing about good soap opera storytelling...and he is way too controlling on telling writers what to write rather than giving them more freedom to come up with stories.

They can get AMC like it once was, from the late 80s to early 90s, if they hire someone like Kate Hall, Addie Walsh, or Jeff Beldner to head write (they both either write great scripts or have much history with the show and are respected writers)...but I like what Charles Pratt (current head writer) has done but the other three can do better...and it can be done much better if they get a new ABC Daytime President.

I thought Deborah Goodrich who was in movies like April Fool's Day and Just One Of The Guys played Silver Kane. I remember her being frumpy then getting all glamorous. I was just a kid then so maybe I am wrong. Didn't she go to prison for murder or something?

Goodrich was the first Silver Kane (the real one, not faux Silver Kane from the early 1980s whose real name was Connie Wilkes)...Goodrich is the Silver Kane in this episode. On the "I Love Lucci" marathon, for the episode where Erica gave birth to Bianca, the recast Silver was in that one (and donna has it uploaded to her channel)

Noelle is Silver Kane. They must have recasted, because Silver is in a later episode I have saved on tape---when Bianca is born (aired Feb. 1988)---and it's a different actress (w/ strawberry blonde hair).

Yes, Silver was recast (can't recall actress No. 02's name). Silver went a little nutty and was accidentally shot and killed by Natalie.

This is the REAL Silver (haha), Rosalind Ingledew Allen. Claire Beckman was her strawberry blonde replacement. Rosalind looks more like Susan Lucci, and Claire looks more like Louise Shaffer who played Silver's mother, Goldie.

Rosalind Ingledew is even more beautiful than I remember. If I recall correctly this actress only played the amnesiac Noelle. She was recast before she remembered that she was Silver Kane. One day Noelle woke up from a nap recast as a long haired woman with flaring nostrils. That was a bummer, especially since the new one had zero chemistry with Jeremy.
