Maybe a different Canada Goose is in order. :P

They were originally made to endure extremely cold temperatures encountered in the high arctic, not the mild temperatures found in most major North American cities. I wore mine in cold down to -56'c and was fine. I would never consider wearing it in anything warmer that -15'c.

How is it if it gets wet out? Have you tried it skiing? Is it really that light and, most importantly of course, is it warm, like if it was -30C out would you still be warm under it?
@z1animations I found that it was 100% water resistant even when the snow got really wet. I haven't been skiing, but I think it may get a little hot if your moving a lot coming down the slopes (in the sun). Its super warm, I honestly wore a t-shirt under the jacket all winter long in toronto (even at 1 am it was fine) It could totally handle -30c, but you would need a decent sweater or layers under it to be completely warm.

As for pockets, there are 2 velcro pockets just above the waist, there are 2 pockets around your ribs to keep your hands warm, 1 utility pocket on the left sleeve (zipper), lastly there is pocket inside the jacket on one of the sides that an be used to store a wallet or something.

It is great indeed. I have a Canada Goose Expedition. It's a good jacket because I could wear a dress shirt underneath it without layering up. LOL on your profile it states you go to York, I go there too, CG's, TNA, and UGG all over the campus.

Yeah, I totally agree with you as well. CG has apparently been around for the longest time. They all of a sudden started to just blow up and soon enough, everyone has one. Especially the CW and Exp. Sure, they're warm and worth every penny. But CG in Toronto is very unnecessary because we barely even have frigid temperatures. Try living in Calgary with -25(cel) daily and - 40 (cel) windchill. Then CG starts to make sense. OMG....it's -10 in Toronto, it's SOOOO COLD! FUCK OFF!!!! LOL.
Its too bad your jacket is too short; too short on the waist and too short on the sleeves- when you hold the camera up like that, your sleeve cuffs are supposed to stay on your wrists. Also the hood zipped up is also too snug. These CG jackets are supposed to function as expedition and military gear. If you're gonna drop 5-600 bucks on a CG, at least get the right size.

Its too bad your jacket is too short; too short on the waist and too short on the sleeves- when you hold the camera up like that, your sleeve cuffs are supposed to stay on your wrists. Also the hood zipped up is also too snug. These CG jackets are supposed to function as expedition and military gear. If you're gonna drop 5-600 bucks on a CG, at least get the right size.
Its too bad there are so many fakes out there...

lol you guys are so funny, you do realise that i have the sleaves rolled up at the very end, when im outside i roll em down for the extra 2 inches

hey i looked at the tags on my suit it only says euro 50, but to give you a better idea i have a 35" chest, 15.5" neck, shoulders are 17" across, and I'm 6"2 tall

hey man nice coat! i just got one yesterday, and i fuckin love it! i can wear a tshirt and the coat in any winter weather. i manage to be lucky enough to find one of the last medium chilliwacks at europe bound and in the color i want, green. looks so sexy, too many people rock the black coat, and i never seen anyone with a green chilliwack (other than one random day when i saw matt babel wearing one, gotta say i bought the color cause of him)
i even got the aviator hat and down gloves. WARMMMM!

oh im sure, i checked their list of authorized dealers and bought from europe bound, and only called any place that was on their list of authorized retailers. i also know how to check for fakes, green is by far the rarest color ive ever seen. ive seen plenty of black white and red, a few people with grey, blue and brown. but only ONE other person with a green chilliwack. it also kept me warm in -15 degree weather. no way is it fake. fake canada goose looks SOOOO fake too. its hard not to catch

dude i think urs might be fake man the pocket on the arm and the patch is sapost to be the other way around so patch on the right pocket on the left
thats what mine is like same with all the other people i no and yes its the bomber style
maybe yours is a different year cuz i got mine in 09
