Perhaps you should get out more then, as what i say is quite accurate. Our spell in the top flight was nothing more than a joke with 7-0 defeats on an almost weekly basis. When Danny Wilson left John got what he was happy with - a mediocre club, again. I note we just missed relegation this season. Again. Even Ridsdale could save us from sinking.

It was so tense 2nd half even though we were 1 up, the joy when this hit the back of the net and the realisation dawning on me 2 seconds later that we were going up was amazing and pure ecstasy. @ ersatz - no mate. That was the day we got promoted to the Premiership - the top tier of domestic football in England. We were relegated the next season but we didn't care a damn. For a club the size of ours to mix with the big hitters just for one year was something amazing. Bear in mind the club was founded 120 years ago and it's never happened before or since. Heady times indeed.
