  • Thank you for your kind words. Good luck to you!

  • I remember going on vacation with family as a kid and yelling "We're not afraid" with my little brother as we ran down hills as Frog and Toad did. Thank you for the upload, for the years of enjoyment that my family has gotten from your work, and for doing such amazing claymation! I'm a puppeteer and clay animator and hope to be as good as your work someday, Mr. Matthews!

  • When I was a lol kid I always thought that the snake bit into some poop. But now I realized it's just moss lol :)

  • Toad sounds like clint east wood LOL

  • Waohh I remember watching this with my little brother .. We loved it... Thanks for the video....

  • Thank you for your kind comments.

  • I can't tell you how many fond memories this clip brings. I watched that VHS of Frog and Toad ragged as a kid and now have the DVD (which is mysterious hidden behind Curious George, as you obviously know). The humor of the books is so wonderfully captured by these films that the limited characters available don't allow me to rave enough. ^^

  • Yes, that was what the snake said. The voice was Hal Smith who was also doing Toad's voice. Hal was Otis (the town drunk) on the Andy Griffith Show. A sweet soul!

  • What did the snake say?

    ?? mmm, you look tasty.

    Oh, come here, ??

  • oh my god! this is a child hood show i havent seen in years. this was the best when i was like 4 and i read all the books all the time

  • This Frog and Toad story reminds me of the time my friend Brody and I went to Nightmare on Grayson last October.

  • hey can you put up the one where toad loses his button? i used to love that one when i was little and that's the only one i can't find on here.

  • its too bad they don't make good kids shows like this anymore. Fortunately, I was a toddler in the early 90s when all the good kids show were on.

  • The first time was on HBO. Then WGBH picked it up for Long Ago and Far Away with James Earl Jones.

  • WHAT CHANNEL DID THIS AIR ON
