I can't tell you how many fond memories this clip brings. I watched that VHS of Frog and Toad ragged as a kid and now have the DVD (which is mysterious hidden behind Curious George, as you obviously know). The humor of the books is so wonderfully captured by these films that the limited characters available don't allow me to rave enough. ^^
Yes, that was what the snake said. The voice was Hal Smith who was also doing Toad's voice. Hal was Otis (the town drunk) on the Andy Griffith Show. A sweet soul!
