What exactly is the point in a building being so tall? And why all the worldwide competition for the world's tallest building? Who cares! It must be a bunch of men trying to compete for the biggest as they think bigger means better!

this was only a dry-desert-fishing town at the start of 1990s.....and there is a skyscraper standing now from nowhere...Where did it come from?

thats not the only skyscraper, Its a large, vast city with HUGE skyscrapers. Thats just the tallest :)

The final height has already been reached at 818 meters (2,684 ft.)... that's why there's a celebration called the "topping out" day last January 17, 2009.

Only finishing touches are now being applied (windows, interior decoration, façade, etc.) in preparation for its inauguration this coming September.
