I understand that this is actually one of their oldest songs, though not released until their second CD. Is there still an early version out there? I think they would have been only 10 and 8 when that was recorded. It's pretty impressive, especially when it's written at that age. Asya's voice drifts off key a bit at times, but if they still play this, I'd bet the live version is a lot better.

Yeah, the early version is off of a demo. I have it. It sounds pretty much the same but this version is a lot faster.

No. That is what she is saying. I think it is just a play on words. Her dad is a medical researcher. Probably where Asy got the idea for "ribosome", She was playing with the words.

and might be "free to stay" ?  this definitely must be the ONLY place you will find the word 'ribosome' in a song other than on some 'science for kidz' DVD, but i can totally see how it works in the greater scheme of the lyrics...if i interpret it correctly, i am wholly impressed with the writing.
