ppl are chiming on MJ so much because for over 40 years he has been beaming thru our tv sets, our radios and newspapers. He's been a media spectacle so the natural tendancy to love and abhor that which permeates our culture and existence. I grew up with MJ, but I still don't see his music as being the highest form out there or him being the formiddable one. Reggae music by all respects is, artists, Bob Marley in particular, where conscious music is the foundation. MJ was a commercial product.
