Why would they have closed down such an iconic racetrack. It think it hapened in 1937. If i had a heck of alot of money i would buy out all that land and build it again, but keep it rough the way it was.
@AHMmotoring They close it because of the WW2 then after the war..they stop using this track. I'm from Malaysia, I just found out about this track after I watch James May's Toy Stories where they have the biggest Scaletrix race

I have been to the track and they have put a tesco supermarket just inside a banked bit of circuit surreal. Least they didn't just bulldoze that bit.
