Egyptian Triumphal March in Opera "Aida" by Giuseppe Verdi, and was first performed at the Khedivial Opera House in Cairo on 24 December 1871, conducted by Giovanni Bottesini.
Nice to look at, basically a rocket with short stubby wings, very fast, designed to reach its target quickly. But alas it was also know as the "Widow Maker". I remember having a model of this plane when I was a kid!
Thanks for the video. My favorite of the Century series of US fighters from the 50's. The Missle with a Man in it. Mach 2 capable interceptor. Yes, used in West Germany and other countries.
We are talking about Ho229, the Hitler's b2? Come on people, those 2 have nothing to do with each other! However, the Starfighter had all this bad reputation because it was used in Germany, where the weather is a little too bad for almost any plane! There were many accidents in Germany with this aircraft, and very few in Greece which was using many ex-german planes. So whoever used it the right way, was pretty safe...
@OnePeopleOneChina But WITH power, the F-104 climbs like a monkey and is twice as fast as the Ho 229, which was a bit TOO stable to be maneuverable. They are very different jets, and the Ho 229 was never made in a useful form. Plus, the Jumo engine was a total piece of junk compared to the J79. You might as well compare an Me-262 to a F-16!
lovely :)

Good heavens! No RCAF/CAF 104's? Once upon an airforce, Canada operated 238 of these things.

An astonishly beautiful aircraft, but I think it was responsible for more Luftwaffe kills than the P-51.

Talk about just taking a rocket and putting a cockpit on it....wait that was the x-1, still this thing looks like a nightmare to land.

I like F-104 (F 么洞四).

When no power, F-104 falls like a rock. Ho-229 was prettier and more stable.
