Edinburgh is the most haunted place I've been to. I'm by no means a ghost hunter, but I'm sensitive to this stuff which is something I didn't ask for. I could sense it right as I stepped off the bus.

@Bumblybee256 It was so hot when we went, thats the only reason people faint, certainly nothing to do with being scared. The tour was so bad it was not funny. I nagged my husband to go down there, and I apologised to him after coz it was just that bad. Waste of money, waste of time you will never get back.

They really said to us at one point 'Edinburgh was on fire, the porous stone heated and people were roasted alive', fair enough, then later he said ....'and noone knows what happened.....' lol

We did have the stone circle part, but instead of trying to make us stand in it, he just told us a tale about some teacher he had taken a dislike to, and how he was glad the teacher fell and hurt his back while in the circle.

@danielsauntiejo .....well that's nice. He told us about a hen party that had their picture taken in the circle and when the picture was developed one looked like she had a noose around her neck. Also that we might not feel anything straight away but then days later there would be an unexplained scratch on your back. Also, the effect was slightly ruined by the bass sounds of one of the clubs they have in the vaults...

I went down into the vaults with Mercats tour. I've seen ghosts before, but never on any tourist attractions - those I just go on for fun. But the vaults scared me, there was a horrible feeling down there - and while our guide was talking about one of the rooms, I saw the ghost of "Mr Boots" in the next room. It was terrifying and unexpected. For anyone who doesn't believe me, I don't care - I KNOW what I saw.

Ghost adventures is the best because they actually catch stuff on tape unlike most haunted, a guy would stay in the hall and watch the rest go down the hall and come running back screaming say, 'i just saw a ghost' when they didnt even catch it on tape. The shadow in the corner that moves and the brick in the goldfield hotel are very convincing.

i have been a paranormal investigator for 9 years now, i have visited some of the most haunted places in the UK and Europe including the vaults, london tower and even auchwitz and unfortunately i have only seen 2 occurances that cannot be logicaly explained! one was at my home and one was when i was in Uni! and both not even scary! i guess u only find it when you are not looking for it! still i continue to do research but it is very dissapointing.
