You do need to file a a police report and get a quote to fix your bike. If the police take action and prosecute this lady you will have everything ready. Not that it will make you feel better but those little 250 ninja's parts are cheap to replace and easy to come bye. They had the same design since 1988 and there are millions of them floating around. Four way stops are notorious with my mom. She would have to take one every time she drove me to school, and she counted people like you. She got a little notepad and every time someone didn't do it right, she wrote it down. I think by the end of the month there were around 60 people on that list. Wish I lived in California so I could spot that lady and freak out on her.
I dunno if I can sue, but when I find her I can try to file hit 'n run, even though it technically wasn't a hit, but it WAS her fault and she DID leave the scene.
@Tritaga go to the next police location as soon as possible and file a damage report. Its crucial to have a paper trail when you are proving that it was her fault and if you have some info of the vitneses its also helpfull. Just go and do it
Rin, you have witnesses - or at least I hope you do. File a hit and run. Don't feel bad; people need to fess up and take responsibility. If a police officer saw what happened, they would convict her before you could say, "Did you eat breakfast?"
