  • completely outstanding!

  • The "26 Mixes For Cash" version of the original is what got me into NIN. Weird how it's technically not even a NIN song.

  • @IDontCareAnyName And the original version of this song on the NiN remix cd is what got me into Aphex Twin. heh.

  • @twistfinger same here. and your re-creation of AT's re-creation is rather awesome.

  • would it be possible to get the multitrack project file for this? I'd like to see exactly what you used for each part, just for my personal entertainment. and i was thinking of maybe turning it into 5.1, if i ever figure out how to mix in surround... lol. its some great goddamn work you did mate.

  • Dude, the amount of work this must have took, you did an amazing job. One of the best Year Zero reworkings of older tracks I've heard.

  • @awake352 Thanks, cousin. It did take a while. Glad you like it!

  • Scary

  • Holy fuck... This is AMAZING!

  • me suena a fin del mundo pero esto esta chido

  • esta chido

  • Fuck yes. I want this as a lossless download! ;)

  • Really really good! I like what you did here.

  • this is really good...nice work.

  • @Hellucinogen79 Thanks!

  • Thnx for making this. I absolutely love it as well as the original.

  • I've been listening this remix all the day for the last 3 days. This song has everything i wanted to hear... Excellent Job. Greetings from Chile!

  • @AngeloMedia Thanks a lot! If you've never heard the original, check it out: watch?v=oguWC9tWR8Y It is so great.

  • @twistfinger I got the further down the spiral album and the original is great, personally think that's the best song in the album but i have to say this remix is totally awesome, it has the perfect mixture between harmony and noise. Well done!

  • @AngeloMedia Yeah, listen to the original by Nine Inch Nails... It's WAY better than this!!! No offense to the creator of this remix...but this just sounds an ugly slaughtering of the original.

  • @Subhanallah82 I know you do not want to offend to the creator of this remix but I think the sounds you describe as "ugly" and "slaughtering" make this remix even better than the Aphex Twin version. I do not know if I have a bad taste in music but I really think this remix is good and the creator of this song should be called "The Great -soundwaves- Destroyer" (in the good sense).

  • love it. really love it

  • I like it.

  • Trent and Richard would be proud of you!

  • @Manano09 Thanks! Trent might play nice but I don't think Richard would have anything to say at all about it. heheehe :P

  • Absolutely fantastic. As a NIN fan from the very beginning, it just shows how versatile Trent's sound is.

  • further down the spiral my favorite album of all time

  • amazing work!!..........pure x-tasy............thank u so much 4 the upload; i have officially had my self-discovery 4 the day

  • Amazing song to workout to i like to imagine the drum being my heart lol

  • @NocturnalTerror Thanks! You should hear the original though. So powerful.

  • @NocturnalTerror oh, i have lol Aphex Twin is the shit i wish they would collaborate more even if they dont actually work together

  • Cool, especially for those who recognise where all the sound snippets come from!

The snare sound is a little bit to "clappy" I guess, but it's very amazing work.

  • Kind of reminds me of Soul Reaver

  • Further Down The Spiral is such a great album. There are remix halos with better remixes, but from all remix albums, this one is most coherent, it is like a concept album following TDS, like a mental sequel. And for me, it's even more emotional than TDS.

This is a masterpiece remix, though at some points it feels a little gimmicky, as if there were too many features from too many Y0 songs, but anyway a very good remix... Great work! Thank you for this!

  • @nathanel1313

I guess the facts you pointed at are evidence enough: It IS the best remix album. For me.

  • sounds like the perfect credits song for Afraid of monsters source :/

  • very impressive remix.

  • this is awesome!

  • finally, a version of this song i can like. if you're into upping it in FLAC, i will grab that mofo soooo fast!

  • @skyseason heh! I'll see what I can do. I don't think I have anything that saves to FLAC yet though.

  • @twistfinger all ye need be dBpoweramp ;)

  • @twistfinger Can you output to WAV/AIFF?

  • Beautiful shit man :D

  • @Spartan117A1 Thanks bro!

  • This reminds me of Reptile a little bit. :P

  • Yeah, I think I know what you mean. heh

  • HOYL FUCK.

This is the best thing ever.

  • wow nice remix! btw i like your name twistfinger, cuz you know Twist is the demo version of Ringfinger ^_^

  • I've had this name online for 10 years and you're the first person to know where it came from. hehe

  • @twistfinger

lol well its a good thing I've listened to mostly every song NIN has to put out,Twist and Ringfinger are probably my most favorite songs in Trent's early years of his career.

  • well you did a damn good job,. this is one of my favorite nails/aphex songs...well done, my man, well done indeed....keep 'em comin

  • Thanks, man. :D

  • Nine.. I mean Nice re:-mix!!! YOU NALED IT GOOD! Nailed it, WHITH NIN.(Nine Inch, or higher... Nails)

  • dark remix. i like it.

  • The original remix is a million times better than this one.

  • No way, bro. I'm way better than Aphex Twin. That guy is so stupid.

  • That's what you think. I don't care for it that much. The Aphex version was so peaceful and relaxing, aswell as beautiful. They defined electronica in the early 90's. I thought this was some remix Trent did in the Year Zero sessions

  • I'm just kidding, friend. The original is still one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard in the 14 years since I first heard it. There is no way I'd say my "remix" here compares to his in any way. I made it for fun out of the Year Zero multi-tracks.

  • LOL it's cool, you had me fooled with the year Zero sound, you did very good on grasping that sound. Sadly, I don't know anything about remixing besides looping and instrumentals. I attempted some time ago to make an instrumental of Ministry's Thieves, but I didn't have the patience to fool with it too much.

  • wow do you really think aphex is stupid?

that quiet a gasp i got reading that!

  • No I don't. That was just a joke. He's one of the best I've ever heard in my entire life.

  • i know you said it as a joke

i just was super amazed reading it so i had to type that

  • Thanks, bra. The original is definitely one of my favorites too. It was nothing like anything I had ever heard and blew me away. Still does.

  • freakin' awesome!!

  • totally fits. the high synths at 1:30 is a weak point, but dawn tight!

  • oooh!!! i LOVE how you chanted his voice.!!!. it reminds me of the temple of time music in zelda ocarina of time.. lmao i'm a dork!! :P

  • You just got yourself another subscriber.

  • I think you are my first. :P

    Thanks.

  • Great

  • You mastered this song perfectly.

  • Fucking brilliant remix.

  • Thanks, b!

  • The most amazing remix i have ever heard :)

  • :DDD

  • definitely the most original remix I've ever heard of any nine inch nails song.

  • Prociate it, dude.

  • Holy shit!!! This is amazing!!! Make me want to hit somebody!!! Twist! What can I do to have this file, song, in multitracks? Mp3? Please send me a private message

  • Can I get this from anywhere? Sounds amazing.
