wow....I remember Rod and Caroly Braddy living a few doors away from me in Colchester when I was a child in the 60s. Had all their singles...would love to know what they're up to now
Heard this on the Beat Bespoke Vol.2 compilation. ALmost instantly recognised the sound of Rod & Carolyn. One of my fave 45's of all time is "I Got You On My Mind"/"Love Is Where You Are" bu Rod & Carolyn. Someone knows some more about them, how many singles did they make, some stories?

OMG when I was a kid in the 60s we lived a couple of doors away from The Braddys. I remember Rod and Carolyn very well. Had several of their singles as a kid (of course)! I would love to know where they are now. I have one memory of Rod holding me up in the air and Carolyn painting my nails! I must have been about 4 or 5 !
@MrJackiepops very well jack thanks,i still work for coop but now part time!!remember me from opp magic music.still into all sorts of music, this month i have seen paul rogers, rod stewart mike &mechanics, bill wyman, roger chapman and saw bryan may in southend (he was nearly as good as you !!!) what stuff do you play now then in mr sister ?....jim

@busterjamesrocks my memory doesn't work so well, but I do remember the co-op. opposite. Thats a lot of big names in a month you saw. I don't think I come up to Bryan Mays' standard. But I'm definately different. I still do Sabre Dance uploaded by Rachel(A Classical Trilogy). A new one " adagio for strings paranoid ". &You'll find video clips of " Mr Sister Axarquia." all on you tube. We do all rock n pop covers, and a lot of Spanish & Portuguese pop. Jack.
@MrJackiepops had a good look at the clips of you,you dont change much do you !!!still bloody good on the guitar..have put a couple of clips on facebook and passed on to a couple of mates who were westcliff regulars.nice to catch up with you, keep in touch,ps your partner in crime has a good voice and the looks to go with it !! all the best jim
The Horrors played this when they did an A-Z of British Freakbeat on their BBC Radio 2 Month of Mercurys show earlier on this year and Ive been looking for it ever since! So glad that it's on here as I still haven't been able to find that illusive Le Beat Bespoke 2.
Jeez, love this song but this band has gone through so many personnell changes it's ridiculous.

This is an awesome classic! Heard this at The Cave Club in London, it was amazing just to have the opportunity to hear it loud and to dance too!!!
