Poor Daniel. The one thing I really hate about this show is how much time Chuck Woolery wastes. I was fast forwarding and fast forwarding and the team still didn't answer another question!
noticeable is not the same as recognizable. tuna may be easy to notice, but chocolate is a smell that people notice and instantly go, "oh that's definitely chocolate"
Curtis and Melissa owed a lot to this guy. When his whole team wanted to quit earlier in the show, he forced them to keep going. I was disappointed that he didn't win the money because it would've made for a great story. Getting 3/4 right with that question is still pretty impressive in my book.
It is actually really strategic to go for it considering he knew Curtis and Melissa were going to walk. He is virtually getting paid 10-1 odds to go for it and I guarentee if they asked him 10 questions he could get 1 right
@robg5555 At some points during the show's run, the option to stop and take your money (red button) was replaced with the option to stop and take a Jaguar XKR with $200,000 in the trunk (yellow button).
(cont.) and Curtis and Melissa continued, they would have been minus a captain, so how would it would have been decided who assumes control of the team? I'm guessing since Curtis had the higher position he'd have assumed the captain spot.
Because Daniel was playing alone, he was playing for the entire $2.2 million. Had Curtis and Melissa continued with him, his cut would have been $440K. But what if one of them (Lets say Curtis) continued with Daniel? My take is that because of his terminator win, Curtis was entitled to twice as much as Daniel of any earnings that they won together, so Curtis would have been playing for $1,466,666.67 and Daniel for $733,333.33. Another thing I have wondered, had Daniel quit (cont.)
dayum i been looking for this video for a long time, found it, uploaded a portion of it on my page, dayum i remember watching this back in 1999, hopefully you upload more Greed videos? there isnt enough on youtube...
It's ironic how Curtis and Mellisa each won $400,000 because of Daniel, but Daniel won $0.

After revealing the third question, shouldn't've Chuck asked one last time if he wanted to take the money and leave?

For those who don't know roman numerals, I is one, X is ten, L is fifty/50, and C is 100.
Aside from that, it was a bummer that the $2.2 Million question got Dan and made him the biggest loser in GREED history.

@ReRaiseN besides that, look at all the publicity he got in the event he was wrong. Some people would put a high dollar figure on that too.

What was the point of having both a red and a yellow button to indicate that you didn't want to go for it

@TheKetsuban I am aware of that, I'm just saying why not use the red button for both

Actually, this is the fourth episode of Greed because they had a 2-episode premiere night 2 weeks prior.
