I think that Nintendo hasn't been up-to-date with online features because they've been working on game play mostly. The first system with an online feature was the DS, but at first the DS was targeted to the kids, then they started making things like brain age and the recipe things. The Wi-Fi was set up for the kids, because that's how it first started out, targeted to the kid. Wii seems like it's based off of the DS mostly, and the net system wasn't updated. DS lobbys would befunorjustchatrooms

I don't know if you tried this, but you can add random people to your friends list on Brawl and play them with your friends. And argue with them using the captioning on the friends list menu, and if you want to argue with them, ask if they got a Wii Speak and get their code down, and you can argue or talk with random people. It's a bit more of a hassle but it's better than nothing.

I think that Nintendo hasn't been up-to-date with online features because they've been working on game play mostly. The first system with an online feature was the DS, but at first the DS was targeted to the kids, then they started making things like brain age and the recipe things. The Wi-Fi was set up for the kids, because that's how it first started out, targeted to the kid. Wii seems like it's based off of the DS mostly, and the net system wasn't updated. DS lobbys would befunorjustchatrooms

nd after listening to the rest of the vid, i get u man, they definantly need to fix online, like they got simple stuff but no the basics, kids r growing up and no kid is some perfect lil angel. they need lobbies and talkin to random ppl. plus if u wanna add someone it shouldnt be friend code it should be easy. and like all the ppl with wii's these days arent like ppl who play online, its little kids, old ppl,& families so theyre never online, so we all need SOMETHING better online. i feel u man!

i agree dude. i was hoping the wii speak would have a chat room where u can just talk to random people but that shit doesnt so fuck getting it. i dont through the hassle of getting someones friend code or getting my friends invovled. nintendo is bad online in terms of social interacting around the world.

I don't know if you tried this, but you can add random people to your friends list on Brawl and play them with your friends. And argue with them using the captioning on the friends list menu, and if you want to argue with them, ask if they got a Wii Speak and get their code down, and you can argue or talk with random people. It's a bit more of a hassle but it's better than nothing.

There are going to be more games then just Animal crossing that will use Wii speak.I´m sure that 3rd party developers will use it in some games without friend codes.
But Nintendo will never allow possible pedo´s,racists,hateful people to be affiliated to any of there products and ruin the good wholesome family image they have.
