LOL Jesus Christ you're worse than gorilla199. This is the most boneheaded shit I've ever seen! Oops, I don't mean "seen", I mean "heard" because you're too poor to afford a video camera. You're so obviously reading. LOL your delivery is so atrocious. 2:10 is my favorite part. If you're really that old, why can't you read?
Point of information. I do have a camera and do live videos on another channel. If you think I have my comments written out in advance and that I am reading my remarks it logically follows that I can read. If you are unable to deduce that, I seriously question whether going to school has done you much good.
I suppose that is to be expected from someone who claims to be 27 and still in school. But, hang in there. You may yet earn a diploma by 35. At least you can now type a comment.
Did you really imply that someone who is 27 is too old to be in school? That is one of the most hilariously ignorant things I've ever read. No wonder you want a YouTube health care program.
@NuttyNutsAreNutballs No, I am implying that if he is 27 and still in school, unless he is working on his Master's or PhD., he is a tad bit behind and may be on the slow side. Most get their BA by 22 or 23. It only takes 4 years, not nine.
BTW, why did you feel it necessary to make a sock account to address me? Are you too ashamed of your comments to use your real account?
I think if even if that was possible would be that you would see some mighty sick people doing anything to get on the 'youtube plan' and get their rating up or enough videos to be eligible
There would be the dancing crutch man, the n1h1 chorus and the donor waiting list variety telethon !
I REALLY wish the comments would stop disappearing! YT needs to fix that shit.
Here is the irony. Now, that I am old I do have Medicare so I am all set. However, I was uninsured most of my adult life and I know how scary that is. I know how people worry and suffer to avoid medical bills. I remember the huge relief I felt when Wal-Mart came out with the $4 prescriptions because it gave me assurance that I could at least have an anti-biotic when I was in sever need of help.
And, if I became ill with something that was common, I had a chance of getting it treated.
Google/YouTube could go the next step and bring health care to all US residents.
If a major private industry takes the bull by the horns and does this, we can all tell the politicians to stick their health care plans where the sun don't shine!
This is downright odd. It won't even be considered, even if you could contact the people who have the power. YouTube is a video sharing website. They have no responsibility to provide users with healthcare. It's out of context.
Wal-Mart has no responsibility to provide the $4 prescriptions either. But they do it. Other companies are not in the health insurance business but they provide group plans to their employees because they can get cheap rates as a group. True we are not employees of Google/YouTube but if they did this it would be a service that would bring a whole lot of new subscribers and positive attention to their site. They would come out looking HUGE in the eyes of their US subscribers. It would be great PR
I know that it seems odd to you. Creative thinking that leads to some of the best solutions to problems often does seem odd the first time it is proposed.
Its plausible but I see a problem in that not all youtubers are American, so any youtuber in other countries like the UK, France or Canada who have Universal Healthcare would see no benefit.
Insurance is basically a ponzi scheme seeing that companies pay them like 10k a year for a single payer & at best I go to the doctor once a year so they keep $9900 in profit..lol
It is true that people from other countries would not benefit. However, Wal-Mart does business in other countries but that does not stop them from offering the $4 prescription drugs to users in the US. Just because a company serves people in many nations does not mean that they cannot fill needs and sell products where they are needed. Group health insurance is needed in the US and YouTube/Google is in a great position to bargain for cheap rates.
There is no need for funding, its a christian hospital and they have funds set aside for people that cant pay the bills, in addition as DP said in the video NM is a HUGE welfare state.
In Chicago one gets charged about 25 grand for a day and a half stay
For the same operation with complications in Ga, its 25 grand for a week
No on should have to either be or become impoverished to pay their medical bills.
I do not know if he has savings or not. However, you can bet if he saved in lieu of paying thousands of dollars a year for insurance, having no group plan, and his savings get confiscated for medical bills, some wise ass will tell him he should have saved for his old age when he is needing charity later.
yep and the hospital rates have gone out of scope with the public market yet has anything been done or has any seroius research been done as to what led to inflated hospital/medical rates. It is not insurance as there was a time when medical bills were reasonable and customary vs. bankrupting the commoner.

They could probably negotiate the most affordable health care plan on the planet and still make a profit selling it to users.

So many people simply do not have access to an affordable group plan. There is a tremendous need. YouTube really ought to jump on this.

You are presuming that he has no life savings that they will confiscate leaving him high and dry in his old age after a lifetime of toil.
We need health insurance for all.

I have no health insurance. If I get very sick I'm afraid I would fall into the republican plan.. Die quickly.
Fuck yeah, google (owners of Youtube) could help us get health care.
