I generally support Hannity and not Colmes but in this case they are both wrong. WE have a constitution and a 4th amendment and you cannot assume a person is guilty first. WE are innocent until proven guilty.  If you have ever had a friend or yourself who has gone through this situation, you'd know Mr. Ramsell is right. Police are becoming Nazis.. Furthermore, most of the deaths on the highways today by drunk drivers is by illegal immigrants!

Not 3 weeks ago a DuPage county JUDGE sped past my house in the late afternoon after being at Glen Ellyn, IL. bars, side swiped a car and almost hit a jogger and a person walking their dog ONLY TO BE CONFRONTED AT THEIR HOME IN WHEATON, IL AND ASKED BY THE POLICE WHY THEY WERE DRIVING THEY WAY HE WAS! ALL OF OUR PARENTS in the '70's took us out for steak dinners on Saturday nights, dad had 2 martini's and drove us all home. Drinking 2 drinks in 3 hours for a man who is 220 lbs is NOT drunk!

One of the great injustices in our society

is the undeserved D.U.I. Certainly, many people are deserving of the fines and other hardships that come with being convicted of a D.U.I. But the laws are far too exagerated these days with regard to the punishment (economic hardship) and the sobriety testing. Many people wouldn't pass the kinds of tests they give, even if they hadn't drank. Mr. Ramsell provides an invaluable service for those that are lucky enough to find him.

actually, it's to ZEALOUSLY defend their client, and they will be charged by a jedge if they fail to do just that, becasue everyone else is against the accused

the LAW has never been agaisnt 'drinking and driving', it's against being IMPAIRED, beyond a fairly low level

Defense attorneys are a necessary part of our legal system. John Adams was a defense attorney for British soldiers accused at the Boston Massacre. How can you say that guilty people don't deserve defense attorneys when its the very process defense attorneys are involved in that determines whether they are guilty or not. It's the legal system that will decide guilt, not a defense attorney and I'm glad the system is set up in that way.

This guys is not a scumbag. He is one of the few left that is helping people have fun. Most of the people driving drunk are doing it at 2-4 o'clock in the morning. The only people out at that time are cops and other drunks. I'm not saying that people aren't killed by drunk drivers, but the drunks who plow into people at 3 in the afternoon aren't the ones getting arrested. It's idiots like that who ruin it for us. I don't want to drive drunk, but I live in a neighborhood without cabs or buses.

10 times more people are killed, yet killed, from cell phones, than dui. 10 times more people are killed, due to switching the radio, 10 times more people are killed due to noisy kids.

Don't be hoodwinked into thinking DUI is this great dragon that slays evryone on the road. More than likely, i'm willing to be 90% of DUI accidents are caused by cell phones, radio, noisy kids, but once they get DUI conviction, the police stop investigating the cause of the accident.
