I liked the video but I felt the information was too fast. The instructor talked too fast and needed to give a brief explanation of tags and basic language mechanics before the lesson. Can someone explain to me the -head- tag? Because I made some HTML documents the other day, I used -title-, but not head. The title still apeared without -head- in the script, what exactly does the -head- tag do?

@geekygamer01 the head tag includes hidden information for your website. your title can still be shown but that does not work in every browser, it maybe works for you without including the head tag but for others it wont work.

anyways, the head tag, as i said contains hidden information or codes that are not DISPLAYED on the website, but they are RUN on the website.

example: javascripts, stylesheets & meta tags can be in the head tag, they are not shown but they are running in the background

This stuff is taught everywhere. If you attend any secondary school in Europe they teach this. This is a very very basic level of web programming. If you do not have access to colleges or universities where you live, then I suggest looking at some online resources. Such as :

Once you have mastered all the basic skills, you can then try a distance learning course or perhaps enrol in any course near to you.

If your having trouble using note pad I suggest trying WEBPAPER.CO its free and has a graphical interface. It writes the code for you, quickly move and resize images instantly. Make images links, text links, color text, and resize. Very powerful platform if you learn it. Very simple to start using though..

To make a full website with several pages, you create several pages and link them together. You can use any text editor but ideally if your looking to a lot of web design get a professional one like Dreamweaver.
