Hello I've been on Tysabri for 3yrs now and like you it has done wonders for me. I used to walk on a cane, but after 2 infusions I was able to put it away! it's nice to see that it has helped someone else.
Ho, hum. U know. Still tryin to get that nut! I'm still working, still driving. Having a hard time walking now - use a walker so that folks can see my problem and not knock me over if I'm using a cane. It's hard. I've been on all the inter and copx and my MS just keeps going. My sisters want me to move back home (Calif) but I just don't want to. Trying to get one of them to move out here. We'll see.
Thanks so much for your videos! I've had ms now for over 30 years now. Live in Texas. And alone. Doctor recommending Tysabri now and I've been hesitant. But once I heard you and found your recent posts, I'm starting to feel a little better. I see the doc next wed, 9/9. Thanks again.
Very impressed by your recovery. A couple of questions - Can you take other drugs while on Ty, eg 4AP? - How long was it between deciding on Ty and the 1st infusion? Thanks
No...Tysabri is a monotherapy, meaning I can only take Tysabri. In fact I have to sign papers every month indicating that I am not taking any other MS drugs.
I was going to get my first Tysabri infusion when the FDA pulled the drug from the market a few years back. When it came back on the market last fall I was already signup to receive.

Yes, absolutely it is hard. When I was in a wheelchair people would cut in front of me in line at times.
Tysabri has been a wonderdrug for me. Walking...no crutches...no chair...and I go about 2 miles a day. :)
