Black people are so gullible! You put vagina creme in your hair to make it grow WTH. I could pick up the dog shit from my backyard put it in a fancy bottle, name 'Poo Gro" and you black women will still buy it. poor black bastards
The silicone is good for skin because it keeps the moisture in. It forms a barrier at the pores so the moisture stays in. Its like a transparent mask that helps to carry your makeup up well and also work to keep moisture in. Its not an irritant. So the silicone ingredient in the product is really harmless. Its actually doing more good for you skin. I can be bad only because it keeps not only oils but dirt which might cause one to break out.
** all CANADIAN girls ** NOTavailable in Canada :( i looked everywhere so i purchsed some on eBay from the UK for about $10 with shipping. I am still waiting for it and am so excited! I couldnt order from amazon.com and it wasnt availale on amazon.ca and everything i found on thefind.com took me to a US site where it would not ship to Canada.
@c8uy dont really understand the question but if you mean under your eyeshadow, thats what people are using it for ive tried it and it is effective, hope that helps I dont use it anymore though
@usvi84@iCRAiZ You are so Pretty, Smart, and Cool. : ) So I have a question... Is it okay if I put - Monistat 3 - on my face???? I had a really bad yeast infection a month ago from wearing my sisters underwear, so I bought 2 boxes of the Monistat 3 but I actually only needed just 1 box. I can't return it to the store, So now I want to add it to my Beauty Routine. Hopefully I don't keep getting more yeast infections, cause it's so Embarrassing and itchy. I just want to be pretty.
Too many ingredients to irritate skin and cause break outs. I like Sheer Miracle's Extreme CloseUp HD Mineral Finishing Powder as a primer. Its identical to MUFE HD Microfinish Powder but much cheaper. You can get it on Amazon or Sheer Miracle's website.
Thanks for the info- always good to hear the other side of things and to get a warning if we are wanting to try a new product. I have sensitive skin, too, I didn't realize silicons could irriate it.
yep at least as far as I know. This video is for those of us who have sensitive skin, my skin cannot tolerate primers, i can only use this on my eye lids withouth having to worry about breaking out.
Thanks for doing this vid I am planing on trying it anyway because I don't wear make-up daily ( stay at home mom) but it's good to know because long term/ daily use of this would not be good for my skin which is ance prone and oily as is so clogged pores is not something I want have to worry about either! I will heed the warning and be careful! Your very pretty by the way =)
it is actually safer than smashbox primer, tarte clean slate and mac prep and prime...check out cosmeticdatabase for health hazard and this rated is low hazard. i hope this help.
i use clean and clear oil controlling moisturizer, i can't find it anymore but i still have 2 bottles so after that i don't know what i'm gonna do, it helps eye make up last and not crease
All I can say is how it affects my sensitive skin this is why this video is posted not everyone may have what i call sensitive skin, please see comments below
my videos is targeting folks with sensitive skin like mine, i do realise that most primers are silicone based and the smoothing effects of silicone however i break out when i use them as well. I am aware that the skin on the eyes is most delicate. This product was intended for use in other areas and individuals have found another use for it so have I and i use it on my lids. I do appreciate your input.
another follow up to the original message the skin on the eyelids are less prone to break outs due to the fact that the subaceous glands under the skin over your face that contribute to break outs are not as previlent. For this reason i have not experienced any problems with using silicone based products over my eyelids
i also have combination skin i personally don't think that this works best on the face ny skin may just be too sensitive but it also caused other individuals problems when applied to thier face. See comments below.
The thing is, the Monistat Chafing Relief Gel has the exact same ingredients as dozens of cosmetic primers. Read the ingredients, practically ALL primers are silicone/polymer based. Smashbox, Sephora, Tarte, MAC, Bare Escentuals, and Laura Geller, among others, all contain Cyclomethicone and/or Cyclopentasiloxane. A lot of them also had Dimethicone and Dimethicone Crosspolymers, so if the Monistat breaks your face out, chances are these overpriced cosmetic primers will too!
I'm glad you did your research this has been the case for me, I broke out with use of one of the expensive brands, this is why i posted this for those of us who are sensitive to such ingredients.
Furthermore the ingredients in this product and legitimate primers are not identical on a whole so the possiblity of having a reaction to this product as opposed to actual primers is not improbable.
I noticed after I started using it that I would have more break outs...I thought I was going through something now that i'm very close to 40....looks like I need to find something else to use on my face, cause it really helps to keep the oil away. Any ideas of another product?
As far as a product to stop oil production, I don't know of one. But I use the clean and clear gel (seen in vid #10) all over my face so make up never touches my skin. So if you wanted to matify your face you can always use this under powder make up for a matte look and you wont have to worry about the make up seeping into your pores. Even make up that claims not to clog pores still causes me to break out but the gel solved my make up woes.

@mishibu25 I agree with you 100%, it is the clogging of the pores that I am making reference to but thanks for clarifying. Thanks for posting

Have you tried milk of magnesia as a primer? It works for oily skin. For other skin types, it may dry it up.
