  • Hmmm...

  • i'm sorry people, but i just don't get this kind of music

  • This has got to be one of my favorite songs ever... so magical

  • I used to call songs during their tune-ups (perfect pitch), so as I was standing next to the soundboard w/ my buddy, listening to 'em fiddle around before the opener. My friend turns to me, asks, "What is it?" "Sounds like Eyes...but I don't think they've ever opened a show w/ it. Oh well, screw it..." & I scream out "Eyes...Eyes!" A bunch of people looked @ me like I was crazy...next thing ya know, we hear the opening chords, & twice as many turned around to look @ me w their jaws on the floor.

  • all they needed on this tour was two bassists-then they would have had two of everything-come to think of it phil lesh IS two bass players......

  • My favorite of all the shows I've seen through the 80's & early 90's. I wish they would put this one out on the View from the Vault series. Anyone who was there or has heard the tape should agree that not only was it a killer show but an AMAZING set list. Killer Speedway & Loose Lucy as well.

  • this is an underated song, IMO

  • This is my favorite dead tune love it

  • I'm so blessed to have seen so many shows. I can't trip backwards so moving on I will pull through as a Saint of Circumstance. No time to lose.

  • This was a fine night. I remember a really nice China Doll in this set also. Anyone have that? Great memories. Thanks for posting.

  • Wowzers the stars sure must have been lined up just right that night....thanks for bringing this to my livingroom....love and light...

  • I can see Bob's skull under face. Make of it what you will. Beautiful music. Let's go babies.

  • Bob Weir is lookin like a preppy little Marin kid with the purple polo short and all! They sound awesome and Bruce Hornsby is a good fill in for Brent Mydland and has always had ties with the Dead.

  • cprjrr--------- good point! Mydland could kill it on the keys & his voice was authentic

I miss The garcia band& the Grateful Dead...see them when I get to rock'n roll heaven...cuz we know "they're" one hell of a band!?!

  • Yes... another good video. Maybe the pinnacle as far as performances are conscerned. However, somthing is muissing... Brett's raspy harmonius voice. If you listen to when the boys play prior to brett's passing, you will hear brett's voice in the background. It truly brings the song to a new peak...

  • Is that a SAX,,,,OH no its Jerry ...Guitar GOD!!!

Everyone is just holding on for dear life on that '91 Summer Tour...

    Phew!

  • Fall tour was pretty crazy too. Boston and MSG! 15 shows in 2 towns! I think that was the last run with Bruce as well.

  • it was but bruce was all over sprin 93 as well
