2.20: Human League - "The things that dreams are made of"! Sounds amazingly like the bass sound used for that track on "Dare". I thought it was only "Get Carter" that used the VL-1, but maybe the bassline on "Things that dreams are made of" also used it too?

Gush, to tap in some random numbers is LOW. There IS a system for what the numbers do in each step, like what waveform, envelope and LFO's (pitch and amplitude) there should be. Learn your product before demoing it, please! ;-)

That's brought back some memories. We used to have one of those when I was a kid, spent ages making a dreadful noise with it. Unfortunately I've no idea where it has got to. I didn't know about the programmable part - that was "that button that doesn't seem to do anything".

@shadowpuppet48 Not as standard as the VL-1 only has power in and mini audio jack out. It is probably possible to retrofit a MIDI kit to it though with some work.
