@sirlovemehard Are prisoners still allowed to wear their own clothes while detained and awaiting sentencing? It is my impression, and I may be wrong, that they're issued jumpsuits when unable to make bail following a grand jury indictment. I recall years ago that they wore street clothes including jewelry right up until actual sentencing (as shown in this video).
@Powerules It's been a while since I've had the opportunity (joke) to go through the system after getting remanded. Bail set. 13 years. But when I was there last you could have jewelery and your clothes until you were guilty or dismissed. Because you are not guilty until proven until you take a plea or lose to grand jury...
