hey, i've got an injury to the shoulder, and was wondering if i could get an opinion on it before / if i gotta go to the doc. I took a blow the left shoulder blade and heard two pops and had trouble moving my arm up. the next day, still the same arm problem, and it bothered me when i sneezed (athough breathing's fine). Today (2 weeks later), shoulder rotates almost perfect, sneezing's not much of a bother, but clavicle and upper part of shoulder blade doesn't feel "right" (no pain at all).help?
The most painless way to have this operation is on the Merivaara Practico Shoulder Arthroscopy operating table, the surgeon has better access and the operation takes a lot less time. Contact Europa Medical for details of your local hospital using the table +44 (0)845 658 4328
Too bad the idea that the acromio-clavicular joint slides as part of shoulder motion is just wrong. If this joint moves at all, you will have tremendous pain. Also, no mention of the clavicle's attachment to the sternum- the real shoulder joint. Beautiful graphics, bad understanding...
that joint is a sliding joint, with limited movement. But it does move. It has to, to retract and protract the shoulder girdle. If it didn't slide, movement of the shoulder girdle wouldn't work as it does. The understanding is correct
Wow, this was very helpful. I just recently began studying the Humerus, Scapula, and Clavicle, (and the surrounding muscles and ligaments of course) but I was having difficulty understanding how they all worked together to form the joint. This gave me a good 3 dimensional understanding. Thank you for uploading!
this is so heplful
