There is though one French artist though who didn't lose the things you miss...great pop melody, lyrics, charm and her name is Vanessa Contenay-Quinones, she has a project called 'Vanessa presents Allez Pop' Vol 1 which is pure 60's french pop but all NEW songs written by Vanessa. Check out 'Bon Bon Bon' (wonderful fun clip) or 'Magnifique', all on here..she lives this sound without 'trying' to be retro..a talent out of time!

Her mother was Hungarian and most importantly, to most French people, she's French! Moi aussi j'adore Sylvie. Elle a été présentée en Amérique comme le plus beau cadeau de la France depuis la statue de la Liberté. Je trouve qu'elle était le meilleur cadeau de Noël de la Bulgarie à la France puisqu'elle est arrivé à Paris la veille de Noël (en 1952) avec son frère aîné Eddie et ses parents!
