  • Nice...very clean, smooth bckhandspring.cn anyone tell me wht i'm doing wrong with my bckhandspring??,it looks like a piece of shit dropping off from a cow's rear end.

  • @3runtube your accent os peeerrrtttttyyyyy lol nice tutorial!!!!! :)

  • I don't have the nuts to do it..

    any tips for this?

  • @stankammeijer grow some nuts broo, practice on a bed thats how i learned, no spotter, no gym, no trampoline, no nothing just bust it on grass

  • @stankammeijer learn to do a bridge from standing up by leaning back. If your afraid to do that too, then use a wall, lean back towards it, and bring yourself down by "walking" the wall with your hands, until you get to the floor. Then, go back up (:

  • @stankammeijer then grow some nuts ! LOL joking aside , no people can teach you how to overcome your fear .... you need to experience it and get over it yourself .

  • what city is ?

  • 24 people broke their neck.

  • he's hot. im diggin the accent too;)

  • @mrfreeruners tighten your legs. that's what gets them straight.

  • is it natural to my hand it hurts then now its swelled

and one more thing if i practice more ill be able to do it like a rubber band?

  • @renzcalais keep on praticing it to get better and yeah in the beginning ur hands will pain but later it wont :)

  • hey man give some tips to make my arm stronger and flexible thanks

  • If you're worried about your arms collapsing under you then just simply try handstanding with more force until you're confident that your arms can take it. :)

  • That was a really pretty back handspring considering you were on concrete (excluding grass and a spring floor).

  • You're fit :)

  • NO, you don't have to do the whole show like this, you just have to get the FUCK off of youtube.

  • very is cool

  • Well if he can do it on Concrete i can do it on Grass! :-)

  • i find it easier to learn without a spotter i did my first one on a mattress but it took me about a year to learn it some people might learn it on their first try it really depends on the person.also when i did the bhs with my bro i kept landing on my head because he didn't spot me right the next day i tried it myself i got it the second try the only thing anybody should worry about doing it by their self is a broken neck but on the first try just use somthing soft :)

  • you snap in too much

  • omg these are bad tips haa, how about sit instead of just bending your knee's & your legs shouldnt land in the same spot your hands do that's undercutting #justsaying :)

  • Great tutorial, learned a few extras XD

  • thanx so much this going to help me alot

  • i dont know if this is dangerouse or not but when the snow is deep at my school i liek to practice flips and stuff i feel no pain or anything.Am i gonna get like a seriouse injury? This is how i learned front/back flips. Thanks guys!

  • @WolfLegions there is same dangers as if there wasn't snow. try not to land on your neck or back and you should be all set. yea its soft but you can't tell what's below the surface. if you were rotating fast enough on a backflip or something your legs might go into the snow and your torso can keep rotating. might hurt your back. jus be smart about anything you do.

  • Is it called Flik-Flak?

  • @kevkrump those are really fast back handsprings, i think

  • this guy is so flexible XD

  • i'm doing everything right, but im still looking a little bit to the side.

  • aw but i really like to do a back tuck and land on my hands lol but pretty nice.

  • i bailed a back tuck now i can backhandspring and backtuck :D

  • 1:33 this guy is so flexible

  • ur gud

  • i tried it today with a spoter, just get one.

It will make all the diference.

  • i can do them on the flour and the trampoline but i cant link it with other moves like roundoff watch my videos on freerunningbros09

  • mainly, if your going backwards, dont you need a spotter?

  • @Cheungy80 no just get a swing get it to spotting heiight and just use it as you would with a spotter!! but you have to do the legwork yourself

  • i like how he did it. looks so easy. the tutorial is good too... but one mistake... you'll end up with a broken bone.

  • can you help with crooked handsprings?

  • hi guys, you can tell me if the RO+BHS needs a power round off ? (like for RO+Back tuck ) Thx (=

  • Can somebody tell me how to fix undercut problem

  • @55arlindshaqiri55 if your undercutting it, you want to make sure when you take off swing your arms back so they go by your ears and keep them there throughout the entire skill. This will kind of force you to make the handspring longer and not undercut as much. Also, i know the guy in this tutorial says to throw your head back but in gymnastics (i coach it) we learn to keep our chins in, you can try that too.

  • Comment removed

  • @vientosolar9 I have no gymnastics background whatsoever and I Learned the back handspring fine.

Honestly, quit your bitching. If you lack the simple motor skills to perform this (based on what the tutoria saysl) back handspring, then you shouldn't be able to feed yourself let alone operate a computer mouse.

Once again I don't see you going and spending the time to make a superior tutorial

  • I can't do a bridge and I can do this. However, it took me longer then I wanted it to.

  • @dchris47 Why can't you do a bridge? It's much easier.

  • @zaibervaireus I can do one lying down then going into one but from a falling position it feels like im not going to be able to touch the ground succesfully and fall right on my head or back. Might be a fear thing.

  • @dchris47 It's definitely a fear thing. I can do it but I still get scared most of the time of falling, I just think to myself I've done this before and try it.

How I learned it I had a friend slowly grabbing me to slow down my fall and he gradually kept doing less, until one time he was there to grab me if something happened but he didn't grab me, so basically I did it by myself. I kept trying that, and I can't say I mastered it but I got it now.

    Have fun!

  • @zaibervaireus I told myself that the worst thing that could happen was that I would die.

Then I tried and broke my arm.

Think about, and you will achieve deep insight.

No but really I did break it.

    Shit hurt.

  • @SnuserArne You broke your arm doing a bridge? wtf?

  • @zaibervaireus Yeah I fell a bit too fast and had my hand in a bit of a wrong position.

    Damn.

  • is it a good idea to try this for the first time just on grass, or should i try to find a spotter or something?

cuz it seems like the worst that could really happen would be landing on your back.

  • @geo289 or your miss getting the ground with your hands and you land on your head???

  • @naqibbaboon that can't happen, because if your arms are up the whole time then you'll either land it or not get enough arc and land on your back

btw I can do it now, spotters help a lot

  • Remember- (in the earlier comments) tuck your head if you're gonna backflip so you don't break you neck

  • just practice falling of ur back and pretend ur gunna do it......lol

  • asd

  • u r face like rappit hhhhh go away

  • i can do it its awesome in the air you feel like a bird XD

  • @DannyPaulTv i know that feeling!

  • thats what i thought javidavi11

  • but truly a good vid

  • nice :) 5+

  • Yah this tutorial seemed quite short and rushed.

Please make it a little longer with more content .

    You'r awesome

  • Good job. They obviously went into a public area, removed bricks from the ground and placed a trampoline that looks exactly like those bricks in their place just to make a tutorial video.

  • lololololol thumbs up

  • Are you on drugs?

  • youre probably retarded..

  • I usually like their tutorials but this seemed quite short. I think it was missing a lot of content and seemed rushed. I love the 3run team though.

  • well, think about it, the backhandspring isnt the most complicated move.. Im not sure what else they couldnt have emphasized.

  • hi,

what can you do if you don't have such a flexible back? how can you train it?

  • Do we have to sort of learn the bridge first?

  • PEACE hahahaha.. :D

  • nice tutorial

  • But much love to the entire 3run team, I have learned a lot from them and they inspire me everyday. Make no mistake, my respect for them is tremendous.

  • I love 3run just as much as anyone else watching their vids, but vientosolar9 has a point. While the BHS is a simple move, there are many important things not touched on in the tutorial. Such as the snap down at the end, or how wide apart the arms should be ( a beginner may not know they should be next to your ears), or where your feet should end up after finishing the movement, because many people starting out will land with them behind their body.

  • Thanks! I'm having problems with BHS... I can do backflip easily as I can jump high very well but in BHS jumping high would make it look weird...

  • you are cute lol.

    handspring kinda ez. nice tut.

    cheers

  • do you think, all people can do it with this poor tutorial.

  • the tutorial was fine. you arent going out making tutorials anyway so you don't even have a right to speak.

  • @morgaman77 ok dude your being ridiculous why the hell wouldnt he have the right to speak he took time out of his life to produce a tutorial for your entertainment and or help so just cause he hasnt been in many tutorials doesnt mean he shouldnt make any cause dude that is a big insult to 3RUN... and of course he has the right to speak you might want to check your history the first amendment... you have no power over 3RUN

  • Abysmaldaath my comment was reffering to vientosolar9's asshole comment; I'm a huge fan of 3run and I have no disrespect for anyone making tutorials. Viento has no right to hate on this vid, all he does is troll on others tutorials.

  • @morgaman77 oh sorry i was in a bad mood and saw your comment and i didnt know dude... wishin peace bro....

  • @morgaman77 clear to me that you are terribly to advanced and see it easy ....

but lacked essential details tutorial for someone who wants to learn and not break your ass.

  • not the fat ones...

  • guys ... thx for makeing this vid ... helped me much!! peace

  • pretty nice

  • You can tell me HOW to do it...

But you can not tell me how to get rid of fear =(((

  • You can get rid of fear by growing a pair :P

Aha im totally kidding. Though you dont want to make it a habit, go sideways a bit until you get a bit of a feel for it, and make sure you have a spotter

  • yeah.. i actually can do a macaco - if u know what it is :D and from crouching i can do a "left sided" backhandspring.. i also once tried a normal back handspring.. i did it poorly.. but i did it :D shit.. i need a gym :S

  • Yeah i learned a bit of Capoeira a while back :) ive never elarned a backhandspring either, though i can do fronts. Its just like anything else, you just have to conquer the fear

  • i can do front side and b twist etc... and i want the h spring too :( i will learn it... just need to practice..

    i suppose :D

  • @mukkimmajjomm you need a spotter! :D

  • @mukkimmajjomm i got rid of fear on trampoline by going side ways then going strait hope this helped

  • @mukkimmajjomm i can , grow some balls

  • @mukkimmajjomm Just get a fuckin' spotter (by jujimufu) =D !

  • @mukkimmajjomm dude i got rid of mine by using an old mattress, improvise anyone can do this, trust me, check out 3run inspiration by chase, helped me alot, the night i saw it i did the backhandspring

  • @mukkimmajjomm

hey i got a solution to get rid of the fear!

    practice falling into a bridge..

i mean bend backwards with an arched back and try to land on your palms.

if even that is scary take help of a wall and do bridges, eventually the fear will go.

it doesn't take allot of time to get rid of the fear.

    neways good luck!

  • @anirudhkrishnamani yes, I tried it already and can fall to a bridge from standing.

I believe with some inspiration and practicing i will get it ^^ finally!

  • @mukkimmajjomm WITHHHH PUPPIES!!!!

  • @mukkimmajjomm Just get a fu*kin' spotter (said by jijumufu) xD

  • @mukkimmajjomm do a bridge and kick your legs over your head first ... then get a mate to spot you and that's all that i needed to finally do a BHS :)

  • @someonesad i dont have a mate what can i do

  • @naqibbaboon you dont need someone skilled to spot you ... it can be anyone

  • @mukkimmajjomm

    fear denies faith

  • @mukkimmajjomm u can dot it bro it was the same for me when i did my first back flip

  • @mukkimmajjomm For the fear, Roll off of higher things onto your feet. This will help you get used to going backwards. Also make sure you get 1-2 people to hold you lower back when you do it. This will make it a hell of a lot easier. :D hope this helps ;)

  • @mukkimmajjomm /watch?v=vXv8Dk78r0k this is the reason you can do it

  • )))))))))))

  • i used to keep going over my shoulder when i tried handsprings, but after watching this i got it first time :D

  • Comment removed

  • nice nice nice....very good tutorial.....3Run your tutorials help us very much.....thx

  • definitely trying this today

  • Guys, try this on a very soft ground. Not first time in the soil!

  • how to make the legs straight while doing that?

  • Ammm, i know that T-Short ;) and i have the same =)

    nice tut

    safe

    S.O.!

  • I've been waiting my whole life for this because I am noob

  • Nice, but i would like to see a tutorial about how to connect the backhandsprings to each other . I can do the first, but i cant do the second. :S Nice tutorial! 5*

  • going to try it.

  • Im gonna try this one again :D

  • i have problems with back rotation soo i think i must to learn first cheat gainer :l cu i now how to do arabian but no backflip Dx

  • haha cool, thats in basingstoke!

  • definently not the best BHS.

  • yo man, we are not gymnasts ok, its just a guide on how to do them, if your looking for the "best" BHS tut then go to a gymnast website, your post was not necessary

  • IMPOSSIBLE.... for me.... lol.....

  • even though i can do a great standing back tuck. im to afraid to do this move. lol

  • @MrMaboMan you are exactly opposite from me. wanna trade? XD

  • aww man dude il give you the tip that helped me out a ton!. wen doing a standing backtuck jump STRAIGHT UP!!! AS HIGH AS YOU CAN!!! then throw your head back, keep and bak and just tuck your legs. key key key, i know you get told that all the time but trust me if ygo for it i knwo you can do it man!! xD.

whats the key for your backhandspring?

  • @MrMaboMan dude when I jump up and tuck I feel as if Im not gonna flip, so basically in my mind Im gonna fall XD I can kinda backflip but I bend at the knees and I land on all fours. thanks for the tip maybe one day I'll get the balls to do it perfectly

  • my advice is practice rolling back wards . start in a stand drop down to roll backwards and push to land back on your feet. when u get used to the movement and momentum then start trying back flips. oh and make sure you legs are strong and well conditioned .... peace

  • DO NOT THROW YOUR HEAD BACK on a back tuck moron! You'll end up throwing your face on the floor... You want to jump high, throw your arms and tuck your legs and let the momentum take you. If you throw your head, then all your momentum is being thrown down directly to the floor. head 1st.... And for a BHS. Get into almost a sit then fall directly back, throw your head, and keep your arms above your head fully extended.. Catch yourself, and rebound. Good luck

  • I dissagree. YOU DONT THROW YOUR BODY BACK DUMB TARD. But yes you lift your head to the sky and try to look backwards!! that way wen you flip over you can spot your landing. DUH!!!!!

  • exactly ... many with thin arms complain that go down and you can not keep .. strength and mind is essential

  • EASY :P

  • very nice very clean! Thanks!

  • good points, but it not quite enough to teach a proper back handspring. your really good explaining it though :)

no offense, but dude you need to go more backwards man.

you don't get any power if you jump up.

and you seriously need to work on your curvet.

  • We aren't gymnasts. We're free runners... we don't care about your "proper form and technique" ours looks cooler, and we've got better talent... so save it for your fellow gymnasts

  • shut up man, you know nothing about me. I'm not a fucking gymnast. never had and never gonna be. I'm a freerunner from Tokyo. freerunning is not about whos more better or whos is more cool. its about finding your own style and believing your self. I'm just sayin its impossible to combine some thing cool like a back flip (360) if you don't have the curvet technique. no offense, I'm a huge fan of 3run and think their the best. peace.

  • @SofaKiNiNJa Well Put! :D

  • Thanks, Great tutorial!

  • seems like this tutorial was made without any thought or planning at all...

  • ah ... it really is totally different to a back sumersault. Thanks this should really halp next time I'm in the gym =)

  • BHS has to go further backwards and not so high, this way you will fuck up you wrists. Anyways that was some nice theory, but Ialso the idea with the low chair that someone steels right before you sit is good too. The exution of Adam is not bad tho. Is he slacking of trainings?

  • Your BHS was really high, you need to go further back, then jump, you will hurt your arms n00b

  • ok that helped alot... i always jump the same as i would a back tuck so i dont get any follow through momentum.. cant wait to try this out tomorrow at training. thanks bro!

  • It worked amazing, I can finally link BHS into back tucks. Thank you 3RUN!!

  • strong = flexed ..

  • :| i didn't really get much from this, when i lean then jump, how much do i need to lean and do i jump up or do i jump back?

  • This should be a feeling only you can know, if you lean you must be able to feel when it is right to continue the rest of the move

  • but the time i think is right, is not right if that makes sense

  • You said you will demonstrate a few....? i only saw one XD just a correction ^^) nice tutorial anyways.

  • the description says palmspin=P nice tutorial though!

  • Sorted ;)

  • great!!

    thanx

  • It says palm spin tutorial in the sidebar...

  • I´ve been waiting for this :-) But my problem is: I can do a straight backtuck but when I try to do a BHS I´m doing something like a back-cartwheel if you know, what I mean. It´s not just backwards, I´m spinning to the left side, what can I do?

  • your probably looking towards you left side instead of trusting that you're going to make contact properly, find a soft surface and make sure you dont pull to the side :)

  • @TheRuneSlayer that would probably help ;-)

  • I had a problem with that. You helped me.

    Thank you!

  • That's awesome, ive had so many instructors and friends try to explain this but you clearly explained every detail well and under two minutes, thank you 3run, Five stars!

  • i am gonna try this tomorrow

  • yeah, I am doing it right ;]

  • 5***

  • Is the last jump necessary?

  • No its not.

  • @crowspears What is in your opinion necessary? Its necessary to eat and shit but is it necessary to perform a BHS? . Idont now1 However i think he just do it to show that he gain some power and momentum with his BHS so that he can combine this jump for e.g with a backflip.

  • nice :=)

  • why does it say palm spin tutorial in the description ? :P

  • good tutorial thanks

  • <3runnnnnn

  • sixth :) nice tutorial man!

  • I have ages waiting for his one!!! love you guys!
