It's an awesome thing what you are wanting to do with these girls however, they are not yet ready for pointe work. They need more strength and technique first. Never let parents push you to put their girls on pointe...
I had my first pointe class two days ago and it was just a little bit painful. We did all of this but I didn't feel that much pain. Everyone else feels a lot of pain while on pointe? I'm doing something wrong? lol
Hi every one i was wondering if someone could answer my question: i am 13 years old and danced from when i was 6 to 10 i would gave needed 1/2 a year more to be on pointe. Recently i have started ballet again and im doing it 2 times a week. I can feel that i still have strong legs from the expirience but ofcorse i still need allot of training. Does someone have tips on how to improve my muscles so i can reachmy goal? And how long will it take for me to get on pointe??
@sophaliceus Run laps every day! That will strengthen your leg muscles and do sit ups to strengthen your core muscles core muscles are the most important thing other than good ankle strength needed for pointe. I have been en pointe for a few years and it a lot of dedication.
@bettysilhouette well they cant be perfect, its their first lesson, they are probably just really excited and hurting some but I am sure they will improve with time.
i love the music in this video, it matches the content very well also i am 11 years old turning 12 in may and i just wanted to ask, does it hurt? jajaja I've seen some 10 year olds in my dance school and their toes are red:O but yet they smile because they had fun!!! please reply :)
I remember my first point class about four years ago. (i was still in pre pointe at the time but we still did the exercises.) I was in a lot of pain lol

Agree with bettysilhouette , you're not having enough turnout, your shoulders are very tense and you lean back

You are not ready to use pointe shoes. You should work first on the technique. Regards.

Her second position looks good for a beginner - turnout isn't too bad :)
