  • This is so so beautiful!

  • da da da daaaa - hummmm, daaaa daaaa, oh just the most beautiful song, we miss you soooooooo much. How I wish there was just 1% of the love of this song in my direction, but instead just longing and lonliness

  • She sounds like Wanda Young of the Marvelettes!

  • Fabulous sound

  • These women are beautiful and were a Class act. God bless them.

  • WHAT a SONG.... And the title says everything....

Mr KING of Love forever.... tks Barry.... always

  • INMEJORABLE INTERPRETACIÓN, ARREGLOS, MÚSICA...PERFECCCIÓN

    THANKS BARRY

  • THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I HEARD THIS SONG!!! IT IS GREAT!!! I agree with Dobermite, this song is one of the greatest songs I've heard from Barry White and Love Unlimited! I was a kind when this came out. The only song that I heard at that time was "Walking In The Rain" and "I Belong To You" of which I truly loves, no doubt about it. but this one is the work of a GENIUS! Thxs for posting!!!!

  • One of the greatest female groups. Sexy ,sexy sexy!!

  • this song was made during the 60;s originally. does anyone know who did the original version. the original version sounded very close to Diana Ross' style and voice.

  • @aldroidlaw Hi, I have this song on a 45 ! The girl who sang it in the 60's did sound alot like M.S. D Ross her name was Folise ( don't think I spelt it correct ) anyway it was F Taylor ! hope this helps.

  • @aldroidlaw

Felice Taylor. She recorded it in 66-67. Co-written by Barry white.

  • Whay a gorgeous clip! Thanks so much for posting it!

  • MAN! That was a great ride. Thanks for that memory.

  • Beautiful song. Beautiful women.

  • And....... Barry married the one in the middle....

  • i love this song

  • so lovelyyy girls =] oh lord, im falling luv!

  • this takes me right back to scholl youth club...........yeah the time of my life.

  • Disfrutando de la buena música : )

  • So many people dont know this song.... they dont know what they're missing, great lyrics and uplifting tune

  • Its the Formula The Formula - Buckshot

Classic right here!!! no wonder 9th Wonder sampled this

  • Many people have noticed the similarity of the song to "Everything Is So Good About You" by the Supremes but there's no evidence of an intentional attempt to emulate it. People also have noted similarities of Glodean's facial expressions and voice to that of Wanda Rogers of the Marvelettes. Whaever, there's no doubt these three ladies all had strong voices and plentiful stage presence.

  • how i LIVED for this when it came out!

  • a touch of 60's Motown meets up with early 70's soul and we get another classic.

  • I loved these girls in the '70's. Beautiful harmonies and vocals...plus hair, nails, makeup! The subtle "hootchie-cootchie" choreography on the line ..."how much joy and pleasure baby" is too cool.

  • OOHHH MYYY GOOODDD BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMEN'S WAOOOOOO KISSSESSSS

  • WOW WOW.....LOVE THIS SONG.....REMEMBERING THE GOOD OLD DAYS.....

  • sweet sweet music. how come they dont make music like this anymore?

  • It`s so so so beautifull!...i love this music...Soul is the best of all... and these great and beautifull singers make it really lovely..God bless this inspiration...we need again this kind of talent...but the orginals always will be the best of the best...

  • 60s people n 70s people were awsom. God bless. i was born in 79

  • Now I hear where madonna's true blue comes from.

    Awsome.

  • that was good music then

  • I thought Gene Page did the arrangements, He is listed on my albums.

  • I thought Gene Page did the arrangements>

  • I USED TO LUURRVVVE THESE GIRLS....

  • I love it, they are beautiful & Great. You can tell this song was inspired from" Diana, Mary & Flo"s - Everything Is Good About You".. Nice...

  • A beautiful song

  • One more thing ...

Don't think its easy to produce such a haunting melody like the one on this record. Believe me, if it was easy everyone in the record business would be doing it. Barry White had a GIFT and no matter many times people in the music business listen to his records, they can never do what he did because its about so much more than musical notes, like Mozart its about hearing a beautiful melody in your head before you transfer it to music, and that is a GIFT you cannot steal.

  • Barry White was a genius.

    Does everyone realize that?

He arranged all of these records, these were all Barry White arrangements, for Love Unlimited and all his own records, and to call these arrangements beautiful is an understatement.

Even guys like Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson, Gamble & Huff and HDH were in awe of these arrangements.

Listen to this song and every other BW production, its pure genius.

Barry was the pop/soul version of MOZART

    PURE GENIUS

  • @Dobermite Yes...Yes...and Yes.....I totally agree with you...His arranging style is pure genius....

  • @Dobermite ABSOLUTELY!

  • @Dobermite i totaly agree with you i miss him and his music truly he was one of a kind .r.i.p bw

  • @Dobermite I had to login just to thumbs up your comment!

  • @Dobermite thats what I tell people all the time !!

  • @Dobermite Couldn't agree more. He was an angel from above

  • @Dobermite

Ha agree..but there is something about them...know what I mean?

  • @Dobermite Oh very well said. A great lost to the world.

    Respect to all

  • Soulful bliss!!!

  • utterly brilliant production...impossible not to feel uplifted by this

  • I used to sit on my front steps in the summer and listen to this over and over and over on my portable record player. ....... I love the way these women sing, so beautiful, so soothing, love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • deserved a lot more views..

  • As closely as any talented writer and powerful producer could, Barry White very nearly created another Supremes here. And for several years in the 70s, each new Love Unlimited release was as welcomed and treasured as any immortal side by Diana, Mary & Florence in the 60s. Even when I had the Love Unlimited albums I went out and bought all the 45s too. Especially if this music reached your ears when you were unspoiled, youthful and optimistic, you haven't lost a single bit of love for it.

  • Very true I do miss this music dearly...was a good time in those years

  • The perfect song for cold winter days...just like now!

Barry white was a classy man.

    R.I.P Mr.Barry White

    Thanks poster for great quality:)

  • More magic from the Maestro (R I P Barry) This song is what you call "Da Total Package" Orchestration/Lyrics/Vocals/ETC!! Does Glodeans vocals bear a slight resemblance to Wanda Rogers of motowns Marvelettes?

  • i'm actually liking these outfits. oh my!!! either the 70's are coming back or i am digressing. LOL...just some pretty ladies with some pretty voices!

  • What a splendid musical legacy Mr. White left to the world. Thank you Barry, wherever you are now. Love from all who enjoy your music.

  • All three talented and very beautiful ladies. LOVED them. STILL DO :)

  • When music was......MUSIC.

RIP Barry we'll have these gems forever

  • Glean Glodean and The Girls Gushing Great Golden lyrics.

Barry White & Love Unlimited, who could ask for more, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • i feel like you i wish music was still like this calm and sweet and met something i mean sitting by the fire place with you wife and lisening to this with a nice glass of wine yes this music is missed

  • Glodean was a wonderful lead singer. On some songs she sounds like Wanda Rogers, particularly "If This World Was Mine." Visually, the Diana Ross influence is clear. This song definitely bears a resemblance to "Everything Is Good About You." This group made some outstanding records and Barry gave them the best of everything he could give in material and production.

  • Are there any more videos out there? Please someone post some more of these gems.

  • esta musica la tenemos para siempre es inmortal

  • They were hot. They are still "HOT!" I feel like they're singing to me. Be still my heart.

  • THIS IS MY FAVORITE FEMALE GROUP>>>ROYALETTES IS SECOND!

  • I love this song. It always reminds me of christmas!

  • Very nice song--but it sounds a lot like "Everything is Good About You" by Diana Ross and the Supremes.

  • Damn good music.

  • Shame that when Diana Taylor died, the group retired.

  • ahhh the memories

  • increible!!!!

  • I remember this song and the group very well, how sad but i think Diane died in the 90s,the music will live forever tho....

  • written in 1966 and performed origionally in that year by felice taylor one of Barry whites discoveries

  • @z30soulbrother, they where formost Barry Whites backgroundsingers in the love unlimeted orchastra and he wrote solo songs for them as well .But more importent for Mr White, he was married to one of these ladies, Glodean James and one of them is her sister , so it,s a fam affair ;-)

  • WOW! What a great clip this is! To see my girls Glodean James, Linda James and Diane Taylor - Love Unlimited sing one of my favorite hits from back in the day! Long live the music of the Maestro Barry White and his muses Love Unlimited!

  • I wished we had music like this again. I hate the way music is going today, nothing to it, just a bunch of yelling, no love to what they are doing. These girls are beautiful, Go Barry, we miss you!

  • master of the masters!

    mr. barry white!

  • THIS VERSION by Love Unlimited peaked at number 83 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1974-

  • Felice Taylor made THIS TUNE a hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1967, peaking at #42-

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!! its going to be my xmass number one this 2009 year!!!!

  • Real Music!!!!!!

  • What a flashback!! I used to love these girls!! Thank you for sharing this. Forgot how lovely they were!! And talented!!

  • LOVE it!!!!!

  • ultimate christmas song!

  • I think they got the idea of this song from the The Supremes "Everything Is Good About You"

  • I have always wondered why this song (1974) was not a major pop hit in the U.S but did well overseas especially in U.K. I finally figured it out. Berry Gordy must have launched a copyright infringement suit against Barry White and so he couldn't play it in the states, because this song obviously takes liberty with the Supremes classic "Everything Is Good About You." (1966)

  • maybut but weren't the copyrights world wide?

  • Divine

  • Perfect !!!!

  • Wow, this just took me down 70's memory lane! Loved this group and Barry then and now.
