cthulee, It was Warner Music Group that forced me to remove the audio.

Perhaps the other recordings were not copyrighted by WMG.

WMG only hurt themselves when they forced me to nmute this song becuase people were sending me messages telling me that after they watched this video they went out and bought the CD.

I think you have a point. One thing is that people don't get to know songs which they could otherwise hear here. And another point is that there are such staunch people of principle like me ;))) who will not buy from companies which demand that audio should be removed. As a matter of principle. WMG demanded even that music be removed from Navka/Kostomarov olympic free dance (it was Michael Jackson medley).

I miss this song too! Sad it is...boy do I know how sad! I was given this song to listen to (for the first time) just after my dear old gelding passed away. I was only 12 or 13 at the time and he was my BEST friend; so devoted and protective, as some of the best geldings can be. Man, did I CRY hearing this song for the first time...cried me some RIVERS! Memorized it and still know every lyric. Don't hear it on the radio EVER, so I sing it to myself in the truck while driving sometimes.

This is one of my favorite songs by Emmylou. The first time I heard it was in Jackson Hole Wy. after riding horses through the Grand Tetons. I cried. I had a horse just like this one. I love to perform this song on harmonica with my guitar playing, singing best friend.

Don't. as much as a love and part of my entire my life horses and riding has been, I don't think I could handle a loss like that again. I lost my job over it even, I coulsn;t fuction for weeks. Plus, I was no rich kid, we got a 2nd mortgage for him, lol. The pain of loss can;t outweight the pleasure, I never expected it would be so.

Oh, and same with my dogs; and for unfeeling, heartless morons who say "get over it; they're just animals" they know NOTHING. My horse died of cancer. He had a "beer tap" in his side draining fluid off his heart but you'd never have known he was dying, he didn't want ME to be sad, he waited for me till I could "take it" - which was never, but as sick as he was he never wanted to show me-even in his ICU stall; the same biting, nuzzzling, pushing, THX for this -sniff :()

I still miss our last old timer a 15 yr old chihuahua who would sleep in my lap if i was sitting down or in our bed during the night. 4 yrs since he died and I still catch myself looking for him to come jump up my chair.
