Because ladders are easier to carry than podiums. Those things are heavy as shit. Plus, you don't need a podium when all you're really going for is a little height.

Second time when we play this is suppose to be like all ballz out or no food for you. And as for the effing high trumpet player who hit the double octave G clearly and "didnt cut off," your suppose to let the highs and lows ring a little. I love playing this piece every time :D DO WORK GOIN BAND!

The cleanest cutoff on that I have heard come from the Goin' Band. Absolutely amazing guys.
